There's something about the slightly more minimal atmosphere this contains that makes it so sinister. Usually a very layered composition evokes lots of suspense and fear but this proves wrong. This is like you're stuck in a flickering, empty morgue with a ravenusly mutilated cadaver, not knowing how he got there, or who murdered him. The only certainty in the moment is that he is no longer alive, and the person who inflicted it upon him may possibly do it to you as well. Breaking the silence is the buzz of some lights and clicks from an old machine.

This style of music is a derivative of Dark Ambient. It is not something meant to be enjoyed and just played while going on a walk. It is an auditory experience that evokes deep unpleasant thoughts and feelings. I myself listened to this many time after finding it as it puts my brain to sleep almost and prevents me from thinking about stuff I do not want to. But it is not something everyone can enjoy and appreciate which is fine.
