Yes, that is what happens when the overall square footage in a ranch is low- the bedrooms (outside of the primary) are quite small.

Thanks for watching! I'm not the contractor for this project, so I can't speak to if they employ any insulation of the pipes in the slab. I'm sure they are built to local code as they are inspected by the county.

I’m currently going to start building a slab home and was wondering if any type of reinforcement was put or was the slab just poured on the clay?

Depends on the builder- typically it is a grid pattern of rebar. Some may use mesh, which I'm told is less effective.
