Thank you for the step-by-step tutorial! I'm so glad I found you. I have the Brother SE600. What needle do you recommend for embroidering on thin handkerchiefs? What tension setting do you recommend? I noticed that yours is set on 4. You've inspired me to give this a try. Thank you so much! -ScottyMont, U.S.A.

Curious how those berries held up in wet winter weather. I made some arrangements with faux greenery and berries for my front stoop and it rained and all the red paper literally washed right off of the berries. Was so disappointed. Are the ones you used outdoor safe?
@MarissaExplains27 күн бұрын
@@natashalarson7703 oh that's so disappointing! 😥 Mine held up well but maybe just be sure to get ones that have the hard wax/gloss coating on them and not the Styrofoam kind? Or you could glaze them yourself with some clear sealant before you put them in your wreath? 🤗

one year later.... how they looking?
@MarissaExplains2 ай бұрын
@@crew6385 so one of them held up really well and has no sign of wear - I think I sprayed that one more generously. The other one has been in a spot that gets a lot of wind, sun, and use - that one has some paint flaking off and could use another spray! I painted them in May of 2023 so it lasted a year and a half before needing a retouch 🤗

LOVE it!!! Tricorn Black is such a great true neutral black.....we used it on our new build here in Texas!!! The hardware is beautiful....make sure you get much longer screws than they give you with your deadbolt for extra security. The screws that come with that stuff are pitiful....we put longer screws in ALL our doors locks after moving in!! Great video!!!

@@SM-qh2mz Thank you! 🤩 I love the color - I read that it was a true neutral when I was researching. 🤗And for the door, I think my husband did that! 😃 We saw the short screws and opted for longer ones that were more secure! 🙌

I traveled four hours to buy a beautiful 5x7 used rug, only to find out the rubber backing was sliced up. She had been using an exacto knife for her crafts. (I told her I was not going to buy it for the previously agreed upon price, and gave her 1/2 of that. Also, that rug was no longer in production. Hence the 4 hr drive ) Just stop cutting on your carpet...

Is it safe for dry ice. I don't want to die
@MarissaExplains3 ай бұрын
@@616FishingToweryou can drink it when the dry ice melts and the smoke stops, or you can put the dry ice in a larger container and put your drink inside that, so you get the smoke but it isn't directly in your drink. 🤗

scotchguarding on top of two layers of paint will not do anything. Scotchguard is intended for fabric. People would be better off saving the $$$ and re-spraying after a couple of years. How about painting the textilene a different color to make it more interesting?
@MarissaExplains4 ай бұрын
@@aussie43 Ah! I found that the Scotch guard helps weather proof it, so that the water beads off better. But it is an optional step for sure! And you're right; I think you could get really creative with colors and come up with some nice combinations! I just went with black because I like black and white 😅

Hi! The black Krylon paint is $6 on Amazon. The clear coat was $7, and the Scotchgard is $9. So if you bought everything new, That would be $28 total for both chairs, with some product left over. I already had the black spray paint and the Scotchgard from another project so I didn't cost me that much. 🤗 But even if you had to buy everything new, $28 is cheaper than buying 2 new chairs!
@Chrissygirl674 ай бұрын
Did you say 1 can per chair?
@MarissaExplains4 ай бұрын
It used almost a can per chair, so depending on how heavy you spray them, you should have some left over but yes I used almost 2 cans for the 2 chairs. 🤗
