This woman is way too exaggerated. Like college sounded like colleger. Stm sounded Stma. Personal sounded personala. Parc sounded parca. Why can’t they make it naturally. Quality check too indecent

I have to say their announcement sounded much better than Toronto metro. I am not a French speaker so I am not sure if that was a correct way to say that word. However on everyday bases I don’t hear people in Montreal pronounce these word like that. If an announcement sounded different from what you hear in daily life that’s creating confusion. Especially when they make it French only which is a tourism unfriendly move, even Paris got English announcement.

Excellent video! I would like to see one day a ride in REM light metro in Montreal in the same positioning as this video for the metro. People always go in front for the REM and it’s too repetitive. Nice video.

Hey, just curious because I'm new to this Skytrain models thing. How can I distinguish between a Mark 2, Mark 2.5, and a Mark 3 train?

The Mark II's and the so-called "2.5's" ... are the same model, in which they come in 2-car formation (married pair). The only difference is the sounds of their motors. The 2001 Mark II's (white) are found on the Millennium Line. The 2009 Mark II's (black) are found on the Expo Line. The Mark III's (black as well) are also found on the Expo Line. It's easy to identify Mark III's as it's a 4-car train with THREE articulated joints between each car, as oppose to a 4-car Mark II train (2 married pairs coupled as one train). I hope this helps clarify the difference between SkyTrain models.
