any idea if it is okay for people with wide feet ?

I find that Adidas accommodates wider feet better than Nike does.

you mentioned that don't need the ct10 sensors as long as you set up your watch correctly. Would you mind sharing your settings? New fenix owner here, and Corica park is my home course!
@golfwithjames3 күн бұрын
I love Corica! Yes, correct, you don't need the sensors, although it's helpful for your putts (which would only require one sensor). Add the clubs from your bag into the app first. Then when you start your next round, start the golf app and on the settings turn on "Club Prompt". Then after every swing it will ask you which club you hit. Hope that helps!

How do you get rid of a badly developed hook? I cNt shake it
@golfwithjames6 күн бұрын
Lot of reasons a hook might show up. Clubface could be too closed at address and staying closed throughout the swing, your low point might be too far behind the ball, your path might be too in-out, you might be leaving too much weight on your back foot for too long, etc etc.

hey i have a question i am not able to hit the ball off the tee and when i do it is like i am hitting it off the bottom of the driver and it slices so much! any pointers??
@Bollman1517 күн бұрын
Problem could be the tempo of your swing or where you line the ball up in your stance. There are many variables so it's hard to give a specific pointer.
@golfwithjames7 күн бұрын
Like above commenter mentioned, could be any number of issues. Hard to say without seeing a video, and even then, you probably want to work with an instructor who can see your swing in real-time and tweak things immediately. Sorry, know that isn't the most helpful response.

Are you able to track it as a workout simultaneously? I know Apple Watch has a golf "workout" where it tracks my steps/calories burned etc. Or are you able to open a "hike" workout to track this while using the functionality?

Buy shotscope, I've been using for 2 years now, just cannot fault it, price very good to, I've got and still use garmin G30, that's good because you can move points to hazards or dog legs ect on course but stat tracking I think shotscope wins, also shotscope seems to have most unobtrusive sensors, their tiny, I think arcos and garmin are like having clubs counter balanced

I have used the CT10 sensors for 3+ years. They have worked flawlessly with no issues. I've only replaced batteries on 2 of them in 3 years. I bought a 3 pack and a year later bought another 3 pack. I use them on my putter, GW, PW, 9, 8, & 7. I highly recommend the CT10's.

Great review! Can you show how you interact with the watch when playing a couple holes? Did they update the fairway hit visual like they have on the S70?
@golfwithjames25 күн бұрын
I tried filming something similar but the camera didn't do a great job of catching the watch face while it was bright out. The Epik Gen 2 does not have a fairway hit visual but does ask if you hit fairway or missed left/right when the hole is finished.
@pappyslapsАй бұрын
are you checking footage between shots or just noting when you're hitting the alignment stick?
@golfwithjamesАй бұрын
Too hard to check in between shots, so I'm relying on the instant feedback of the stick. I'm also at a Toptracer range where I can check ball speeds after every strike. For me personally, if I'm below 150mph ball speed on driver, usually not a good strike. Anything above 155mph is usually a sign that I'm striking it more square. With this drill I noticed I was getting ball speeds above 155mph more consistently.

My V2 is great. The lock on vibrate works every time for me. Are you holding down the button as you’re scanning for the flag? Never had an issue with the unit not buzzing on a flag.
@golfwithjames3 күн бұрын
Could just be the unit I have. I still use it just because I keep forgetting to swap it out and it definitely takes a few tries to tag the flag during a round. It helps to have a GPS watch so I can ground-truth my lasered distances.

I have 136 rounds on my garmin and it says "not enough data" in regards to putting stats. I'm baffled. I always enter my number of putts and it defaults to 2 anyway (if you forgot) so how can it say it doesn't have enough data on the performance stats? My scorecards show my putts per hole AND for the round. Any ideas? Are you using a CT10 on your putter?
@golfwithjamesАй бұрын
Daniel, you probably need a CT10 on your putter at least. I've had a mixed experience with my CT10s but for some reason the one on my putter is the one that hasn't malfunctioned/died so it's kept track of my putts. Since the watch doesn't ask you to document the location of the flag, Garmin likely estimates your putt distances based on your first putt and when you start walking off the green.
@danielkohler3458Ай бұрын
@@golfwithjames Thanks. That's gotta be it if you're using one and getting stats.
