Very Smooth comparison, and detailing video. The camera comparison should also be done in low-light conditions, as this significantly impacts performance and detail assessment. Btw Pixel phones are renowned for their exceptional ability to capture light at night, outperforming many other devices.

It's absolutely clear that Pixel is nowhere near the iPhone when it comes to taking pictures of people. Iphone has such a organic vibe to them it's like when I am taking photos with my Fuji.

Amazing job! I use iPhone since the 5, and this year, and as a photographer, I feel that the Pixel seems to be ahead in term of photography. I feel like the iPhone wins it for the video, but for the photos, I chose the Pixel everytime in your side by side photos. Amazing dynamic range. Once again great job and amazing comparison video! Hats off

They do act very different in various scenario's. No clear winner imho. One time I prefer the colors of the iPhone, other times the Pixel. But then again, when shooting (only) in raw it doesn't really matter. For jpegs, both phones process their images way too aggressively (over sharpening, often too saturated,...).

Well, actually, I wouldn't say either one is a perfect match. They're both quite close, though! The Pixel tends to lean slightly magenta, while the 16 Pro Max has a slight greenish tint. Generally, most people tend to prefer green or warmer tones for skin, especially in cinema, where that color balance is often favored. Thank you for watching!

I just love the creamy smooth blur of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. As a Windows user, I was about to buy the Samsung, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max won my heart.

This was a really helpful video! I am much more of a "point and shoot" photo taker, not much editing being done by me, but I think I found the Pixel 9 Pro XL a bit more appealing to me. And the video was quite surprising! The quality is great. And the 8K mode is pretty cool. I think for a simple photo taker like myself, the better zoom on the Pixel also does it for me. How did you find both cameras handling low-light situations?

My biggests question is why are the colors SO different? I am not a photographer of any sorts, so I am really curious how the colors end up so different beyond the basic "because they tuned them that way".

The pixel just hits differently. Hard to explain. My wife has always had an iphone and I have had a pixel since the 2xl and I prefer googles computational rendering with HDR and colors so much more.

Thanks for the great review! I'm having a hard time deciding. I love the image quality of the Pixel, but the video quality on the iPhone is fantastic too. I hope Google can improve stabilization for Pixel videos through a firmware update, especially when zooming in, as the iPhone offers a better zooming experience.

Man forget the side by side. These were some stunning pictures. But i likebthe fact that it had a number of different scenarios/ scenes such as cloud cover, fog, reflections on the water, sunset/ sunrise to that really captures how the phone renders colors shadows and tone. Much appreciated.
