I don't chase Amy, I won't look back, I don't regret. What Silent Bob experienced was guilt, he left her she moved on, he still feels for her. It's his fault she got away. However, these feelings will never chanfe on a man, if you accept her, you will be miserable for a very long time. When a man's ego has been injured, it's very hard for a man to heal from that injury.

I don't agree, if your ego is fragile enough to be shattered by a man who wasn't good enough for the girl you love, you need to do some introspection and understand that everyone has a past. you're not defined by the girls you've had sex with, and you don't define the girls you've had sex with.

I for one couldn't and wouldn't be able to accept a woman with a high body count, maybe I am fragile and to some I have a low self esteem, however, I don't care if it's her past, her past choices, her naitivity as a young wild girl, its like a murderer saying I killed 10 people. But that was my past, I'm not like that anymore. A woman that didnt respect herself doesnt deserve to be respected

@@leonardocarretero1054 As someone who has likewise made questionable sexual choices, if I were to be appraised only by those actions, I would feel deeply misrepresented. Judging someone's actions while they were naive is tough for me because I was likewise very naive in my younger days. I would be a massive hypocrite if I was uptight about my partner's sexual history. I won't do unto others what I wouldn't want unto me. Another reason I look past sexual history (within reason) is experience. If you and your partner know only each other, there are questions that can cause resentment, contention, or stress in a long term relationship. Thoughts of "I wonder what other people are like?" weigh heavy if a person has only 1 partner for life. Frankly, you feel like you miss out. At least I did when first dated. That said, there are ways a partner's sexual history could be a dealbreaker. For me, if a girl has been with countless guys, we probably have very different values. But I've explored, I expect my partner to have explored as well, within reason. I wasn't disrespecting myself by having sex with random girls, and exploring sex has answered many questions I needed answers to. As long as our sexual experience is comparable, I don't see a problem. Also killing 10 people is infinitely less redeemable than having sex with a normal number (assuming <10 partners is low) before settling down.

I think this isn't really about what people here seem to think it's about. This is merely about how guys are sensitive and can feel intimidated by a girl if they have feelings for her. This is about masculine vulnerability, the one boys are raised never to show and men spend their time being in denial about. Which is where the douchey behaviour comes from. There is a guy who has been doing this to me for a couple of years now, and I know what it really means. But of course, there ain't a goddamn thing I can do about it. And I can't move on from it either because I feel the same way about him. 🤦‍♀️
