Detergent should be added after you have filled the sink. Doing so prevents foaming and allows visibility of the instruments under the water !

This is good for a small hospital but what about a large hospital with large volumes of instruments show us that...

Thank you for showing and explaining the set Much appreciated I couldn't seem to find the set in the optec which most companies usually put at the end of the surgical technique so this was very helpful

I has been so curious and disappointed all the information about the Operating Room “ OR” everything they do mentioned is so important; ,a lot stress big responsibility with the patients to be ready for electives surgery, emergency surgery Trauma level etc. All the departments related the OR working together for a good CARE and SAFETY , it’s so important, but it’s one area is completely ignored, no one’s refer to “ Instruments Room “ also equipment, some hospitals it’s part the OR ; the instrument technician we has to take a course, medical terminology, learning about each instruments for all the services, continue education, be certified, attend seminars be part of the team , the training it’s not that easy ; but if you like it work with instruments, scopes , and equipments etc. etc. It’s very challenging. And the most important thing Sterilization Technique and everything handles with care and be prepared and always have everything ready for surgery’s and never say you don’t know , be alert that’s will be the best performance also fallows all the protocols. “Instruments Room “ is very important in the OR the technicians working very effective and hard , we all important in the TEAM.

Great idea to create a video like this, however the brushing of the instruments should be performed under the surface of the water.

I always flush lumens from both openings after using a pipe cleaner or brush to dislodge contaminants the brush may not have picked up (such as clips that get stuck in pedi suctions). Excellent video btw!

is it normal to work alone? I want a solitary job and this looks like a great match for me because I also want to work in a hospital.

***** It depends how big the facilty is... if you work in a large hospital there will be alot of people on each shift to keep up with the work load maybe on a weekend shift you'll work alone but usually its two per shift ... a surgery center that does small cases you'll probably be able to work alone but ... you're never alone you still have to communicate with the nurses
