I accidently stepped on my left heal and it crumble...now this is irreversably done. I tried other shoes with less thick padding. Try the on and buy less. It will sit and support better. Even RC is going away from it. Additionally its too much different penals...meaning they are more prone to get damaged. I am losing the stitch of one panel and that in a spot, where nearly no wear has occured. Sad...I think other, less panelled RC shoes or Shimanos will be better. Cleaning is something else that I will now consider. Less panels, better general materials and you can easily water them + get a towel and done. The material of the padding shell and the material on the toebox isnt easily cleanable. I am even looking to giro tracker shoes, but I dont know how this will hold. Vaude has some durable leathershoes...I dont know yet. 😂 Northwaves, Shimano and some other RC models with cleaner panelling are the obvious ones for me for now.

Laid my motorcycle down 2 weeks ago in a tight turn. Broke my collarbone and fractured my ankle. I have only been able to sleep upright with pillows behind my back. I'll be so happy when I can finally lay in my bed again. 🥹

Sir for me sleeping was a major concern too because my bed was only a foam so its so low so deep so when i waking up i am worried if affects my clavicle that undergoes surgery.

I have been in constant torture for the past 3 weeks since surgery after my motorcycle crash, testing every way possible to sleep and always waking up mjd sleep and in the morning with severe pain that lasts for at least 5h that gradually fades , Right now I am testing this and I can already tell that this will be the first night I get actual sleep

What about giving it a fork with more ofset that bike compared to other ibis has a head angle of 67 with gives you some room to slacken the head angle plus the head tube on these bikes are real feefed up with with 117mm height in comparison with my stumpy 100mm headtube. I feel that the with such steep head angle the 29er wheel is a bit closer to the frame. I'm going to give it a try with a 51mm offset 150mm fork.
