@ About the same time when you released this video, I also released a video titled: "Adam the First Priest" in my curriculum series. Would love to hear your thoughts. I am developing that perspective now, which is why I thought your suggestion about the feasts to be insightful. Genesis 1:14 used the term MOED for "seasons" which is used elsewhere for feasts of Israel in the Old Testament. If your suggestion is correct, then Israel would learn from their story and the typological unfolding of the Feasts that upon their fulfillment, they would be back in the Garden of God, face to face with God in the most holy place. Greetings, I love the ETOC. I am Antiochian Orthodox. Both natures ascend to heaven in one person is our position, but I can see why you would say one nature with both the properties of human and divine... I honestly think the baptized Greek philosophy was a little more abstract so they had to redefine older terms to catch up to the precision that Christian doctrine needed. So (my opinion) both Dya and Mya can be Orthodox- it's just a matter of defining terms correctly. Forgive me if I made a mistake here.

I very much appreciate your comment, I have been looking into knowledge management systems and methods for some time now, especially for the purposes of theology, and have enjoyed Ann Moss' book on 16th and 17th century commonplace methods, which covers Melancthon's loci. Do you know any other resources which would be useful for these interests? Particularly how database theory and combinatorics approaches information arrangement compared to commonplace methods, etc.? Any suggestions would help, thanks!

@@Chaontinuity Ann Blair's Too Much to Know (2011) covers some great history. So does Krajewski's Paper Machines (MIT, 2011) which touches more on the computing portions. You'd have to delve deeper into mid-century sources to look into the database pieces, but I suspect you're not going to find huge swaths of material on the overlap outside of the library sciences. I've put a bunch of notes into the wikipedia page for commonplaces you may find useful. The Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale has a digitized version of Edwards' Miscellanies online, which is a good example of a religiously centered commonplace. Earle Havens' Commonplace Books (Yale, 2011) is a good introductory text on the subject and has an interesting section on Theology which will give you some interesting pointers.
