I am tossing between a sea jay sport avenger which has the same hull as yours to a Formosa 520 srt. Not sure if you have ridden on a Formosa to give your opinion. Thanks!
@Salty_Shenanigans2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t ridden in a Formosa but it might be abit dryer in a cross chop with raised up front but I can’t fault the SeaJay. Mine does have the 4mm bottom upgrade though.
@JT-ee9cg2 жыл бұрын
How does this ride in chop?
@Salty_Shenanigans2 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty good for an open boat aye. Get abit wet with some side swell and wind but handles it well.👌🏻

Hi guys top catches! I've got an honest question, no nasty agenda. I am always confused about fishing anywhere near Yarrabah as I got told some time ago its all restricted because of the community etc. etc. But every time I go past heading for Fitzroy the country looks like it's untouched and should hold good barra / jacks / salmon... Did you have to get any approvals to fish that close in? Cheers Dave

Thanks for replying mate much appreciated 👍. And also thanks for advise regarding wreck location , I gather it's only accessible on high tide periods? Also what is ur advise on best tide times to fish inlet system for jacks and barra snag bashing. What plastics of lured you suggest? Cheers again mate looking forward to next video, lm hooked now lol. 👍
@Salty_Shenanigans2 жыл бұрын
Yeah man only high tides For the inlet there is a lot of options early mornin high tide try push up on some of the flats and chuck some topwater around like the Zman frogs is alway an exciting time then as the tide drops out start fishing the mangrove lined banks with either paddle tails or prawn lures. The best advise I can give ya is don’t rule a snag out because there is only like 50 cm of water on it. They love those shallow sticks on the runout
@Salty_Shenanigans2 жыл бұрын
If ya go have a look at our Instagram I normally have the lures we are catch them on

The zerek cherabin are good or the chase baits flick prawn both in the weedless so you can park them in the stick
