I wish they would do another tour I saw them so long ago in a 2000 person venue and hearing this song every single soul in that building singing the last quiet verse sounds like a church choir until that drop, absolutely amazing There's no other electrifying live show experience like it is seeing brand new where everyone is just belting every single word to every single song from start to finish

First heard this song through Pandora. I was laying in bed, earbuds in at moderate volume, passing through a nice hypnagogic state when all of a sudden 'that' part hits. That shrill guitar first woke and confused me enough so that I was aware to fully pick up on the screaming. Scared the absolute shit out of me, I just lay there in shock for the rest of the track.

What about "I am a nightmare and you are a miracle (coming out of the ground, it's kinda freaking me out)" by the same band?

I think it's a song bout a chick turning down a dudes proposal and the dudes piecing together why she said no. The whole album is one giant story about his heartbreak and self loathing until he drinks and drives and kills a little flower girl in a limo

"You could never work well with our group, not with the faults we found. So we've fixed you with cement galoches, and noone can save you now. Unless you have friends amongst fish, there'll still be no air to breathe. You could drink up the entire ocean, we'll still find someone to be everything we know that you'll never be." Fuck that's powerful. Imagine having this written about you.

I listen to music as I doze off to sleep. It was not a pleasant experience having a split second jump-scare dream of falling, and then being torn wide awake with unexpected loud music and screams. Thought I was dying for a second. Don’t think I can ever unhate this song now. Never again shall I listen to thee...
