it is so confusing figuring if it is turf toe or gout

Would this be work for posterior Tibial tendonosis? Those tendons on the inside if the medial ankle?

I am 79 and was just diagnosed. In Sept.when I saw my primary care doctor I had a bone that seemed to jut out from the side of my foot.It was painful.I thought it was a cubiod problem.Had an xray and was told I had arthritis.Recommended I see a podiatrist which took 3 months to get into.During the wait I noticed that rocker foot feeling that I did not have before.Upon seeing the podiatrist he diagnosed Charcot very quickly. Very little info given.Told me to get custom unserts.No mention of staying off the foot,etc. No mention of follow up care.What I have found out about this condition is from KZbin!!! I do not think at this point I am going to have much success regrowing bone at this age no matter what I do.I have been wearing a boot until I can get the inserts.I am frustrated that the radiologist did not see this in the xrays and that I have gotten so little guidance from the podiatrist.
