With Baking Soda we typically need some acid e.g. yogurt or lemon juice for it to react and stimulate the flour. Your ingredients don't include this .....

I doubled the recipe and made 2, one for the freezer. I added cooked pancetta, pimento stuffed olives, kalamata olives and black Sicilian olives to your recipe. It is delicious!

Tried it. Excellent balance of flavors and it turned out that it goes well with pasta, too. My kids loved it. After a few days in the fridge, it was still good and even tastier and a lot more balanced. Just as with most Indian food, in my experience.

You need to chill it more... when you work with it the butter must not be messy!! that means the dough is not chilled enough

I made it with purple and white figs and added a passion fruit glaze instead of honey, it was divine ❤ Best recipe I’ve tried so far. The tart crust is crumbly and hard to deal with, but it’s absolutely delicious and tender. The fringapani is amazing the custard is yummy especially with lemon zest. This recipe tastes grate with peaches and pretty much any fruit. Thank you 🙏🏻
