Im afraid to use rope , looks like my new budgie likes chewing it.

Nice video! I'm looking at this because the rope perches I had been buying have more than doubled in price and I refuse to pay it. Stainless steel wire would be best. (NOT stranded cable. Solid wire!) Galvanized wire is coated with zinc which can flake. You absolutely would not want your bird ingesting flakes of metal as this can be a big problem.

thank you for sharing, for me it is much to work intensive. But PLEASE learn the proper way of using tools. Very dangerous the way you hold the blade. one slip, and lose a hand, wrist etc.

Thank you so much for this! All I kept getting was how to make lines with a printer. I am actually looking for the best way to hand draw lined paper but this is also a very good idea.

I recommend watching tutorials on this. And then doing them enough times that you can change it up and make it your own.

I like the roller idea. The paint dried to quickly for a good negative print. If you use something to extend the paint drying time, I think you would get an awesome negative. I bought a medium that does that from liquitex or golden but I'm sure a more cost effective brand sells it too.

Hey! Just wanted to know if ot came off the light fixture or if I should put cling wrap down first? I'd rather not have the marks from the cling film but I cant have it stuck to another bowl
@serenityjewel Жыл бұрын
WARNING - She needs to add some additional info to this video. 1. Put something between the bowl and the clay so the clay doesn't stick. 2. Amaco is real clay so it shrinks as it drys. If you wrap it around something that prevents it from drying, it's going to seriously crack. I'm guessing hers was fine since it wasn't that high up the sides. 3. And before you add clay to clay, it needs to be scored and slipped. That's when you scratch hatch marks into one piece of the clay that covers the areas where you're going to add the additional piece, then you add some slurry (which is a slippery clay and water mixture), and then you add the other piece. This ensures the piece you add doesn't fall off. Definitely look up how to do it.

This is such a cool idea! It's nice as well even if you do have a printer but you want a more arty look, you don't always want everything nice and neat in a journal especially if you're making a junk journal or doing a lot of hand writing. I've also used a wire cooling rack with great success, often the lines are a little smaller and wider apart so if you want to keep the arty look but not have it so tightly packed, check out the kitchen!

She baked them at 270 degrees for 30 minutes. You could glaze them after if you want. It might help to keep small pieces on.

I am new to crafting, was looking for how to preserve a bird feather and found this video on using resin. Fabulous! Thank you for posting it and for expanding my knowledge on the tools of the trade. Plus the tiny frame of your birds’ feathers is a precious work of art.

This was extremely helpful to me! ☺️ I was looking at making Christmas presents with feathers and resin and was unsure if it would work. I did not want to waste my resin or my feathers. I did see other posts online that showed feathers were something that did not work in resin but you have obviously proven those others wrong. Thank you! Because my ideas are something that would be very personal for each person!
