I appreciate your openness Lance!! I've unfortunately dealt with a workplace incident as well where a coworker passed, circumstances were different however so I can only imagine how tough that was to deal with. As someone who is in a position of leadership with people who work for me I hope I never have a day where one of them is involved in a life altering incident on the job site. This was a great video, now if I could only figure out who's cutting up onions here.....

Love it when a plan B works out that well!!! Sometimes it can be to easy to get down when our original plans don't work, but life has a funny way of working things out!

Excellent well done video and a topic we need to talk about regularly so that we normalize "talking" about it. Thank you and Chris.

Very powerful video. Great work to assist anyone who needs help. After spending 2 1/2 decades in law enforcement, I've dealt with this issue too many times with myself and my coworkers. We need to break through the stigma and get it out in the open. The darkest disappears once it's brought into the light.

Thanks for this Lance. I’ve struggled with depression most of my life. When my daughter was killed in an accident last year the only thing that kept me going was being sober and knowing my suicide would hurt my boys even more. It’s gotten to the point that I am now in an outpatient program for depression. Riding my motorcycle helps too

Thanks Lance! This is amazing. We need this to be out there in the world. There is a burden that is put upon us as men that I don't think society at large is even consciously aware of most of the time. We need the other people in our lives to realize that we can be supportive but at times we need support too. The conversation is definitely moved along when someone like you steps forward to show your pain. Thanks again! I will be sharing this.

Thanks for making this video. It’s very fitting as I bought my first Adv bike after fighting cancer and the only time I feel at peace and clear in my head is on my bike. Been struggling ever since to get back on track. Thanks for this.

I do like the way you include the towns also as each town has soooo much character. Also, you have enough riding footage of amaxing places and just enough commentary. Well done and keep up the great work. I plan on watching all episodes tonight in between Moto-GP races. Thanks for sharing.

I’m heading up to my place in Klamath Falls, OR this Labor Day weekend on my Yamaha Super Tenere, from our place outside the Phx, AZ area. North of Winnemucca on US95 leads to NV140, changes to OR140. This is road less traveled, beautiful scenery. Be sure to fuel up in Denio, NV. Safe travels.

I split my time between Provo, UT and Martins Cove, WY and it’s great how you captured it! Living in these states, you must find ways to adapt to their wild weather swings. I learned this the hard way when I rode my Road King across northern Arizona and southern Utah one night when the temp dropped to 2Celsius. All I was wearing was my mesh jacket and Levi’s. I went hypothermic, but eventually found a motel with a vacancy. My wife, who is an RN, coached me via phone to help me recover. Since that time, I ride with layers (mostly Klim gear), including a heated base layer shirt, and gloves. The mid and base layers and rain shell all stuff small and take up a small portion of my top trunk. I also wear Kevlar riding jeans with a thermal liner. My K16 has a bigger fairing, and heated grips and seats. I have since ridden from 0-40 Celsius and stayed comfortable and enjoying the ride.

if you go south from Winnemucka, you will hit the loneliest highway. Watch Shhhh to see a great video of it recently. It is worth a ride for sure. I do not like riding freeway. Thank you for posting. It is a great ride.

Great series! Glad I found it! Planning to ride from Key west to deadhorse AK starting mid May. Hopefully beartooth will be open by then, I believe May 26 is usually when opens. Definitely gonna need heated gear!
