This is how players influence one another in terms of playing. I believe this is why JB prefers to play with different guitar players to broaden his horizon rather than stick to a certain idea of playing. It helps him to step on the streets that he hasn't been so far. I am not sure if I made myself clear as I am not a native English speaker.

Sorry, Marchbank is superfast for sure, but what he plays is mostly uniteresting chromatic or scaler stuff slidding up and down the neck. His sound also i don’t like at all. And on lot’s of his vids he is miming to pre recorded and editted tracks. When you here him on live recordings it is far from the perfect editted vids. But, i realy do like his slower stuff, especially some of his acoustic melodic playing.
