There are planes made for v6, such as the Dash8 from Majestic. All of the planes from v5 will install and work in v6 except for the FsLabs planes and the QW787. The TFDi B717 and MD11 is made also for v6

Okay. Missing features from MFS that We have are dynamic and volumetric lighting. As well as that the wind that whips through the air is affected by simobjects and landscape. Flight models are not restricted by the aim to the dev and we have had walk around feature with avatar for years. p3D runs offline just fine and the storm clouds go all the way up to the upper atmosphere with precipitation as well. We have as many different types of clouds in the sim as the user wants, rather than just two that MFS has and can display up to four at a time for performance. This sim is totally configurable and doesn’t have 10 year old data in it. Every version of P3D carries the latest LC, vector, mesh and ICAO code data for each version.

@@AdamJPestridge There is absolutely zero volumetric lighting in P3D, not even Photometric lighting. I know you're trying to keep their dream alive Adam but if P3D was all cracked up as claimed everyone would be using it but it's not :-) Even Xplane runs circles around P3D, particularly in lighting and dynamics which is currently the only sim to have actual Photometric lighting

@ no idea what photometric lighting is. Sounds made up, but yes, the light in the sim changes because of the clouds, evident by the shadows that cast over and when you’re plane goes through the clouds, if the dev has given the plane volumetric lighting, you can see it changing from the clouds. I mean, preference of the community does not determine the quality of a sim. Just their choice. I’m sorry, clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about. Also. Just looked up what photometric lighting is, it’s the study of light. Not a type of light. Go home.

Xbox controller is way better to use for controls. I did figure out the squares eventually, it could have done with letting me know what it was more clearly I feel.

YES thats it. Xbox App through the windows store. If you get it through Steam you need to connect your Microsoft account I believe, Id recommend to get it through steam tho as Xbox servers are always going down.

@@AdamJPestridge The water files penetrate through the airport itsellf and it looks like there are waves under the runway. I've commented about it in your Discord and made the observation a while ago.

@@jerzyboy1210 then thats a simple vector fix where the dev hasnt applied the correct elevation to the edges where the water meets, most likely an airport built on a slope yet the airport isnt sloped. Can create a sloped airport easily. Bringing down the slider yes fixes it, but the issue is in the airport itself.

You see a version of Sarah Connor in a timeline. Doesnt mean it was from T2 timeline. As events happened many times before we get to that film. Remember, even before Dark Fate, there was 4 timelines that happened.

It depends what aircraft I’m flying to how I have my settings. The higher up I fly the higher up some settings go. Whereas when I’m low, some settings are maxed out. I’ve done a video on this before. 😊

Yes, that’s correct. Sadly because the way the panels were made also using the TruGlass, they will only function at night. This is because they were made for v5 using a completely different shader set for daytime. I don’t think it will ever get the update it needs for v6 as QualityWings dissolved their company recently and are no more.

Thanks I have re-watched it but can’t find reference to what program that you use to edit dds texture files?? Also I struggle to work out how to add the AWS or ATIS freq…….I’ve gone from v5 to v6 now and enjoying v6 more but noticed that they haven’t really updated airport frequencies as well as they should. AWS freq missing (so can’t get aural airport weather ) or some VOR’s missing the co-located DME, etc. Is there a way to update frequencies in v6? Cheers

@@miket3445 as mentioned in the video, V6 isnt compatible yet with ADE, so its not possible. Also as mentioned in the video I used IfranView to edit the files, although Photoshop can be used as well.

@@AdamJPestridge ok missed that about photoshop…….so nothing at all available to edit v6……nobody seems to want to give two hoots for P3D these days.😩😩. Might be pushed into X-Plane it seems. If you can’t edit basic things like frequencies then what’s the point. Also looked at Navigraph but it doesn’t support updating P3D like with X-Plane…….P3D is being abandoned I’m afraid.
