a favorite tune! Great job. I got to hang out with them before a gig once. Sublime music.

Great tone, I like that loop your playing with. I’m interested in this amp and running some OD pedals into it for that late 70s cascading gain. How’s your experience with the amp been?

How does the Ceriatone compare to the Cobra?
@johnnovack61682 жыл бұрын
the cobra has a very strong low midrange emphasis that can’t really be dialed out. the ots has much less of this, although it is still plenty full. the external od trim on the ots is highly useful, this is an internal adjustment on the cobra. the cobra is a fantastic amp, no doubt. the ots hangs right in there, so much so that i sold the cobra. hope that helps.

Excellent playing, very tasteful. It shows off the Louis Electric Cobra's tone, and how nicely it fits into a mix.

how's the Rivera? there are hardly any demo's and videos of it out there.
@davidriehl2 жыл бұрын
I luv mine, there are a ton of options. The OD is adequate, I'd rather use channel 2 just to the edge of breakup and an OCD / BB pedal in the front to push a bit more.
@solarflaresmusic92672 жыл бұрын
@@davidriehl nice, that's how i'd use it too. How does it sound at low volumes? How are the cleans? Pedal friendly?

I've got a Regal II with the stock Emi and considering a 418b as upgrade. I had one in a brown Pro years ago. What are your thoughts on that speaker in this amp? Thanks
@johnnovack61683 жыл бұрын
brought the amp alive with more detail and touch sensitivity. the eminence seemed a bit sluggish, the altec eliminated that.
