Lived there from 1971 to 1995 , great place , friendly people always something to do . Then it changed, became to trendy and the place to be seen . Never regretted leaving the place , only regrets was leaving a lot of good mates .

Lived there for 24 years until I moved away in 1995. Great place to be young and single in the 70’s and 80’s with some thing always happening and nice and close for work in the city . Then it changed for me , lost its village atmosphere and became too trendy and modern so my wife and I decided to move , must admit property prices had a bit to do with that as well . Been away 30 years and been back to look up old friends a few times , but boy has it changed.

22:29 Not sure what the Ute was doing there, taking two lanes ... You almost witnessed a crash when the other car was passing by on the left and the Ute still looking confused. Surprised there was no honking either. 🤔 Good view and video nonetheless.

Yes, it was quite concerning to see the Ute occupying two lanes like that. It definitely seemed like a potential accident waiting to happen, especially with the other car passing by on the left. It's surprising that there wasn't any honking to alert the Ute driver. Despite the worrisome situation, the view and video were still enjoyable. Thank you 🙏

@@AroundSydney Absolutely! For some background information, I lived in Sydney (around Manly and Mosman) for 3 years back in 2008-2011. I still remember going all the way up to St. Ives and Berowra for sporting matches (I played Rugby) or for leisure (hiking) and seeing your footage brought back some great memories. Not just of the surrounding houses, streets and shops, but nature too. Such as the Eastern Arterial Road, that brings you right through the bush. Just beautiful.
