Congrats BOSTON CELTICS NBA 2024-25 back2back Champions 🎉

@@S4Y3MJ4Y it's a bit early and there is some cause for concern. How many times have you seen all their starters (together) on the court? That's a big deal because with one of their starters missing, the Celtics are beatable.

@@Hoonicron he definitely will get a chance to start. The reasons Embiid is starting are he spaces the floor with his 3 point shooting. He's also a tougher match up for Jokic/Wembenyama

They just beat Serbia by 26 points, what do they want? A 40 point win? Just win 5 more games and it will be over. Let the players decide how they want to play. The problem with playing too fast, there will be a lot of defensive lapses and there will be a lot of turnovers too. A win is a win whether it is by 1 point or 40 points.

@@StevenC32 high expectations for this team. They're being compared to the 1992 team.

@@plicorp I think the 2024 team are as good if not better than the 1992 team in terms of skills, but the rest of the world is much better than the international world was in 1992 so the games are more competitive than they were in 1992.

@@StevenC32 yes. If they win by a point, however, the argument that they're a better team than the 1992 team will not stand. While the rest of the world has started to catch up, this version of Team USA is still head & shoulders above the competition.

@@plicorp As far as I am concerned a Gold Medal is a Gold Medal regardless how you win it. I am concerned more about the final result instead of the process. 5 more wins equals a Gold Medal.

@@StevenC32 that's not how most of us see it. You're aware of the comparison. The players themselves are aware of it. The fact that they had a sizeable lead and still benched 2 all stars, says it all

Why do they need 40 - 50 points from Kyrie to beat the Thunder? In 5 games Kyrie averaged 14 points and the Mavericks won 3 out of those 5

@@barshoon I am sorry but I have to agree with Gabriel here. Your judgement might be clouded because you're obviously a Nuggets fan. You can check ESPN or even TNT. You won't hear any analyst saying they thought the referees did a bad job. While if you search the Knicks - Pacers game, you get a handful of them saying the outcome may have been affected by bad calls. You don't even hear Malone & Jokic bring up the referees.
