@@DoAnythingOutdoor Im going to order one on two days ! That larger green handled model I seen you have in the video! Wow! Im shocked how after all these years past, this is the first time in perhaps 31 years im excited and impatient to get this model! I mean Im feeling like when i was in my 20s and I was getting my first real knife a cold steel push knife! The large one, before that i could only get Pakistan junk from this stand at a local market! You know the ones! All big anf and lose, stainfull steel, couldnt hold an edge for shit, and if you dropped it and it hit thr ground point first.*&**( forget that shit.😂 oh yeah these junk blades would only cost 10$ for the buck folder wannabe model! And 15$ for the extra large! 🤣🤣😂😂🖖

Totally understand what you mean bro! The green handle one is the DMP a mid size knife and smaller than the speartipped contact in the video. And the knives come in lots of different colors so be sure to pick the one you like the most!

@@Saim.369 totally agree I wear other brands like meindl,lowa,haix,asolo. But salomon and lowa depending on the model are top brands to buy light,durable and comfortable hiking shoes/boots. For the tougher boots with more rigidity I'd go for meindl the island pro series or asolo hunters

Offcourse man its everything outdoors actually i was looking for shoes for hunting next month in South Florida and found your channel. So florida weather what is your opinion they hold up good in rain AND swamp?
@DoAnythingOutdoorАй бұрын
@@Saim.369 hi buddy,thnx for asking about the boots I'm not sponsored by salomon or something like that but im very positive about these boots.I've been wearing them over two years now in dry,wet and submerged conditions and they havnt failed me yet,in the filming of my last shorts series I was wearing these most part of the afternoon submerged in a mountain stream. Let them dry normally,brushed them treated the leather with conditioner and proofer good as new. Very good ankle support and very comfortable and light. These come in a goretex and non gortex version for swamps and lots of treading in water up to the point they fill up,id suggest the non gortex version.these would dry faster and easier. And I'd go with half a size bigger than what you normally wear they are a bit tighter than my lowa boots for example.

As an avid knife guy I would love to see the cutting practice on bass wood simple to see cut quality after making a material removal cut if the Cut surface is smooth and shiny then it's as sharp as a final honed carving knife which means to any level of experience person to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if you have an accident with this tool that you're not going to feel it and it will be bad with a high possibility of being very bad just a good thing for a man to know about his tools and not for nothing paw paw swore by this ( So it's been said 😅)
@DoAnythingOutdoor5 ай бұрын
This knife,tho it is sharp won't get anywhere as sharp as a carving knife. This is designed more to be a stabbing tool and yes it will carve wood,and you could cut yourself with it,but I doubt it would be a cut that you don't feel immediately.

Hi, I'm thinking about buying some, what's your opinion on the fog? I play Airsoft, I tend to run a lot and there are a lot of differences in temperature. Thanks
@DoAnythingOutdoor5 ай бұрын
Hi buddy the lenses are hydrophobic and oleophobic treated,wich repels water,dirt,etc for a certain period. I've had mine for a long time and the layer does wear off. So I have to treat my lenses during games with anti fog coating,if you want non fog eyepro I would go with fan assist on your goggles but even those can fog up during extreme conditions. Do know that if you go with gatorz it's lifelong warranty on the frame,the glasses are replaceable and you can use them on a daily basis instead of just during airsoft or target practice. Gatorz are glasses for life and definitely my every day use glasses"eyepro"

Awesome blade. Too rich for my blood though! I just got in a 13" Panawal from Kailash Blades in Kathmandu for $200. Amazing and made by experienced smiths in Nepal. Differentially heat tempered as all khukuris should be.... though, I'm not doubting the toughness of these Extrema Ratios at all! Khukuri pro tip: when chopping through thicker branches like this, it's better to stand the branch up vertically and chop down at the sides at a 45° angle. Work your way around the branch as you chop and you'll be through it way faster and without having to risk accidentally burying your edge into the ground and chipping it off rocks. Same technique when using machetes trying to get through thicker wood. 👍
