As far as i know, you can only daisy chain (to double the power output) an ecoflow delta *Pro* model .. i.e that feature is not available for ecoflow delta 1 or 2 "standard" or Max models only Pro (and above) ... however can add an extra battery to all the delta models that adds more capacity (but not power/output)
@Globetrotter-1
@Globetrotter-1 2 ай бұрын
You can daisy chain two Delta 2 together, simply by plugging the second unit into the AC socket of the first unit. The Ecoflow 800W is a superb option to charge the Delta units during continuous rainy days.

I see you're using 200w solar to basically stay at 100%, thats amazing. I also see Ecoflow provide their own 400w panel + alternator charger, do you think with both of these combined you can basically have the ecoflow running 24/7 at 100%? (more or less)
@ShawnVanNinja
@ShawnVanNinja 3 ай бұрын
@eddy_creative Yeah, the panels I am using are the cheapest for sale on Amazon. I'm getting a newer truck, and on that build, I'll add 4x 400w panels to my new Delta max 2. However, that's overkill. But it's ok. I have no bills. I live in my truck rent-free. 😆 oh yeah I'm definitely getting the alt as well.

Good video! A couple of things worth mentioning. First, solar and cigarette lighter charging may be too slow for large power stations that get deeply discharged. This can be addressed by having some sort of B2B charger. Ecoflow makes an alternator charging system for ~$400. Second, power stations may not have sufficient ports or ports in a convenient location, for more sophisticated builds. The solution is to install outlets whatever desired, running the lines to a distribution box that is powered by the high output port on the power station. On the Delta Pro, that's the Anderson ports.

I have a simple question but I can't find a straight answer anywhere on youtube: I have a power station with 200 watts input power, IF I installed a 600 watts solar panel on my van, would that fry the power station? I am completely new to this. Thank you to anyone who can provide guidance.

Thanks for posting this video. I also live an alternative lifestyle, currently I live up at the Grand Canyon. We lose power quite often and with what's going on in the world you never know what's going to happen. I have actually in my shopping cart right now a Delta 2 and 2 100 watt panels, but I've seen so many people talking about having issues with them and not so many small channels like this that explain they have used them and had no issues. My plans are to build out either a full-size Bluebird or a shuttle bus from my lady and I during my tenure here. I've already got my eyes on the vehicle or Vehicles LOL depending on how much money I have when I go to purchase, and it would be nice to have power ready to go when I got them. Again I appreciate you posting this video and you have changed my mind back towards the positive. Can I ask what happened to the first one?

@JNOBODYOFFICIAL the first delta I bought. I would run it down to 0 charge often, and I think that kills these units. Also, I overloaded it a few times with my ASUS gaming pc. @ShawnVanNinja

Heater is a no go. I tried that and it over loaded. I'm not sure how big of a power bank you would even need to do that but it's not a good idea in any case. Power for off grid is as important as water you don't waste a drop. Find other ways to heat like most van lifers. I use the mr.budy for that. Others use the diesel heater. As for a fridge, I'm my cade that is also a waste of power so I don't use one. Nor do I miss having one lol. You can power one on the Delta but your slow dripping you power away for maybe a few eggs and bacon or beer lol Hope this helps

Hey Shawn! I just came across your channel today and have watched a few of your videos. I have a cargo trailer and have thought about putting panels on the roof. I am leary about putting holes anywhere in the trailer. Did you just use eternabond tape to hold your panels down or is it more than that? If it is just the tape, how difficult do you think it would be to remove, if something happened to the panels?

There were a lot of backstories that distracted my attention....If I'm not mistaking, the initial hardcore setup you had at the left hand side of the van had been replaced with that minimalist clean setup of the Bluetti right? now, I know you have 3 x 100W panels on top of the van, what other gadget needs to go into what before finally plugging the charging cable into the Bluetti to get the juice flowing in? logically you would have like an extension plugged into the AC input of the Bluetti that allows u to plug in multiple devices simultaneously 'cos don't tell me u plug each device directly into the powerpack do u?
@ShawnVanNinja

@Sir-Kay I never had bluetti, I'm only for using Ecoflow because I trust the brand. Hooking up solar panels is pretty easy, and yes, you can plug the Ecoflow right into a regular power outlet to recharge the unit

Awesome value! I prefer simple plug and play and am about to start my van life journey. So studying for reliability mostly. I would be extremely happy with 3 years since I've seen vids of people saying some their products conked out in two weeks. Granted it was the smaller bluetti and Jackeries and a smaller delta, so maybe thats a factor. But hearing someone say 5 years from 2 Delta products is encouraging. From reading the comments someone said thats not the Delta 2. Can you let me know what the one that lasted 3 years was? Thx!
