It does look like the ends of two separate trusses were connected to make a heart shape. Makes sense that they may have been repurposed from old roof trusses.

Are you sure the dip in the middle of that bridge is intentional? I thought it was from corrosion, and it is about to fall down.

I live about 4 miles from that train bridge ! The train tracks were pulled out around 1990 and all of us kids drove ATVs on the abandon rail bed .There is another train bridge about 2 mile south of there crossing horse creek its the same design as the river bridge but just one span long , the last time I saw it was about 20 years ago and it was getting very over grown with trees.

Thanks I have my job for 26 years so far and agree on everything you just said. I do find it impressive you only called out sick 3 times. I definitely use my sick time every year lol. We get 5 days and for the most part if I am sick I am using those days to rest up. Though the new years eve I was still not feeling good I called in and asked my manager not call out sick but if I can switch because the route next to me was 4 to 5 hour route and the guy doing it wants more hours so instead I just switched he got my long day and I took his easy 5 hours and went home to rest up.
