@LandFather genmax and pulsar seem to be identical or at least built in the same factory. When I was shopping, I could get pulsar cheaper than genmax at Lowes using 10% off coupons and rewards money. Military discount works on generators too for anyone qualified to use it. Duromax stuff is great too. I really wanted an inverter but I don't have inverter money.

Why not just put that neutral wire on a switch so that you can easily go between standalone and connected to house operation

@allysonand id like to find a nice switch that could handle 30 Amps but the prices weren't reasonable. I made a neutral bonding plug for about 7 dollars. A benefit to the plug is that you can tell from a distance whether you are running bonded or not.
