I played an elf inquisitor got to the winter palace area then fell off after getting a bit of bad rep with Cole, now I'm playing as a Qunari mage who supports mages I have five others who are all level 12 but I keep jumping from one to the other the Qunari mage is now level 17 YET I'M CURRENTLY PLAYING ANOTHER ELF! Why do I always torture myself by never finishing a playthrough, I haven't even gotten past the winter palace

Yeah, while I appreciate Cole as a character, he's got a lot of issues, as far as I'm concerned. I get it that the writers want to be all clever and include tons of pop culture references but they simply do not make any sense in the realm of a fantasy RPG set in a medieval type period that is not Earth. Why and how in the world would Cole even know about things such as Citizen Kane, Supernatural, Memento, Soylent Green, Star Wars and other movies? And for him to have known all along about Blackwall and Solas' pasts and not share them with the Inquisitor at the very least is unconscionable. The argument that these weren't his secrets to share is total BS because he's discussing issues concerning them in public, in front of others and that right there violates the idea of preserving their secrecy. The only time they got it right is if and when Iron Bull betrays everyone because several times Cole states that Bull doesn't see his enemies as people, just objects to be removed and that he feels nothing when killing because it makes it easier to deal with. Plus, if Cole is in your party when Bull turns on everyone, he states that he didn't feel anything from Bull when he did betray them. But he clearly always knew about Blackwall and Solas and chose not to say anything, just vague comments to both of them in front of everyone else. I really could have done without the pop culture references. They just felt cheesy as hell and were totally out of place. It's gotten to the point where I just stop listening to Cole whenever I do bring him along or I just decide not to include him in my party for most excursions. Oh, one other instance bugs the hell out of me where Cole is concerned. If Dorian is in the group, at some point Cole will bring up someone from Dorian's past, a man named Rilienus -- Cole describes him and ends by saying "he would have said yes." This makes no sense. He's rooting around in Dorian's mind, picks up on some remorse or regret regarding this man and somehow knows that he would have said yes? How is that possible? He can sense pain or hurt in someone. That much I get. He tries to find ways to ease that pain but in this instance he's what, clairvoyant as well? He knew what the man would have said to Dorian? If he didn't and that was a lie, that goes against what Cole would or should have done, doesn't it? If he was telling the truth, how the hell did he know that by reading Dorian's mind? The writers took a bit too many liberties with this character.

I have hope for Dreadwolf. Looking past the bugs, the gameplay of Andromeda and Anthem were great. The main issue was presentation, and that begins with the writing. The writing of both games was *dog awful*. If they can revamp the writing team, I'm sure Bioware can get back on track. People come and go from studios, so maybe the next writing team can salvage the studio's reputation. It's all on their shoulders, really. Copium, you say? Yeah, maybe. But still, I'm willing to at least give them one last game to redeem themselves.

It's like Cole is supposed to be the "Sandal" of _Inquisition._ Speaking of which, is it possible that Varric lied about where Sandal would be going to out of worry? I'm starting to think he may be in Tevinter.

This scene was way too emotional for me bro. I identify a lot with the elves, coming from a Taino heritage. My ancestors have been forgotten by all but those who carry on their visage. I imagine the elves in this game feel the same way I feel about the loss of such an amazing culture. Yeah I hate Solas with a passion....

Can this be done in the original Half-Life as I just got more dialogue when Gordon just waited as compared to Black Mesa but in the game files the scientists say “He Waited too long, we can’t contain it.” exists in the voice files in the original Half-life so was it cut from the game when Valve released it in 1998 or does it happen in the game?

I like to imagine that Solas did some mental trick to get Cole out of his mind before he went too deep like Atton reciting card tricks to distract people from reading his thoughts in Kotor 2, or how Noah started thinking in Japanese in Heroes.

I love that they added significant historical songs as well as details in this game. Thank you for posting this I know it might seem pointless in many instances but it does matter there are people out there like myself that look this kind of thing up and we want to see it even if we play the game and know it well.
