This is such a beautiful herb garden❤ It is full of variety in addition to the lovely way it has been arranged. I love the variety of clay pots, and the creeping vine ( not sure what it is) covering the raised area.

I enjoyed this video. I feel like I am watching an award-winning documentary. The video is excellent! Thank you for sharing your tips about rescuing a plant after transplant shock. I have had plants go into shock and drop leaves because of sudden temperature changes. Crotons (Codiaeum variegatum) are the ones that I have the most trouble with during the winter. I have even tried to boost the humidity for them. They still drop their leaves.

I gotta get mine in a bigger pot . The dirt is humped up like it’s bout to overflow. This plant is giant. It’s November I’m in Ohio should I propagate the bab%. There’s a lot of them. I brought the plant inside because it began to turn yellow and then Bruno on the ends. Anyone have any advice
@redsoilgardener5 күн бұрын
Hi, a bigger pot is a good idea as the spider plants does produce a lot of offshoots and roots that can lead to overcrowding and loss of nutrients in the soil and therefore repotting in a bigger pot and adding fresh soil will rejuvenates the plant. The yellowing of leaves could be a result of overwatering or insufficient light. Whereas the browning at the leaf ends could be a result of under watering. It is common that the Spider plants whole leaf turns yellow, I would gently pull the yellow leaves off, as it is an indication that the leaves have lost their chlorophyll. Besides it make the plant look ascetically beautiful. have a look at above options and hopefully all will be well. Happy Gardening.

Thank you for your video, I've been searching everywhere how to grow the seeds & yours was the only video i found on youtube. I've loved this plant for years & finally got one this year & potted it. I've taken possibly 200 seeds from it & now I can plant them in spring (I'm in the UK & we're coming into winter so is spring the best time to plant them? ). Thanks

Talk about Garden of Eden! This is very beautiful. They know all the names of the trees in Kikuyu. Very interesting to know the Mogumo tree is in so many countries. This sacred tree very important in Kikuyu culture and am sure other nations too for Spiritual purposes. Well done and Salute to the Barrows for excellent work. Thank you I have learned something.

Hi Esther, do you live in Nairobi? Most of the herbs are sold in our road side nurseries. Carrefour also does sell plants and seeds. You could also try the Flower Factory in Karen.

I love those clay pots! So simple and beautiful. The garden is very green and fresh...it reminds me a bit of my herb section of the garden. I grow some of those here in Trinidad, but also have Aloes (Aloe Vera) which is a great help for emergency burns, Wonder of the World (Leaf of Life) good for swellings/inflammation/joint pain, and Big Thyme (Cuban Oregano) which apparently is really good for coughs and colds but I normally only use it to season food 😋

Hi from Australia. I love all of your informative and relaxing videos. Thank you for sharing them. I will try propagate my Tibouchina and keep it cut a bit smaller in a pot. I am gifting it to my daughter for her new house and large garden. The purple varieties are the most popular here in the subtropics, and I have always had this variety, along with my Mum. Now I have a Tibouchina Kathleen. It has glorious pink flowers densely covering it in spring and autumn. I will have to keep it heavily pruned, as i just found out it grows to up to 5m H x 6m W. I'm a bit disappointed about its size as it will be too big in the place I have planted it. Do you think I could manage the size by pruning it?
@redsoilgardener5 күн бұрын
Hi thank you for sharing. I am sure your daughter will love her gift. Pruning down the bush can be done. This should be done early spring or late winter so that the plant has time to recover during the growing season in Spring and summer. Also do remember that by pruning it will encourage side shoots making the plant bushier. Thus affect the airflow and the light penetration in the plant. Therefore do remove dead branches and any cross branches in the plant. Happy gardening and Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya.

Thanks a lot for this helpful video👍 I bought Marguerite Daisy a week back and just noticed that all its buds suddenly started to turn brown/burnt like appearance and some stems turning brown at the bottom. What could be the reason? Could it be overwatering? It receives sunlight for about 3-4 hours.
@redsoilgardener5 күн бұрын
Hi Ann, sorry for that. Reduce the water intake and let the soil dry out in between. Remove the dead stems and deadhead the plant to remove the dead buds. Also do check the plant to see if it could be a fungal disease which prevent the flowers going into maturity. DM me with a photo of the plants. .
@annwilliams6493Күн бұрын
Sure, I will do that, and thank you. I have DM you the pic.
