Just a caution: Do NOT buy cheapo EDPM weather stripping. They will be FAR too hard/firm, and you will have problems closing doors, rolling up windows. There are several sellers who have whole car weather stripping packages < $200. This stuff will be an absolute waste of money. Yes, proper weather stripping is expensive (700-$800 as of 2024), but that's really the only option.

I've got a '97 XJ that just recently had a similar issue with over an inch of water on the passenger side floorboard after a lot of rain. Wondering if it's set up similar to where I can access it after removing the cover? I watched a nightmarish video of a guy cutting open his cowl to gain access to the fresh air intake. Mine is the first year of the "restyle" so maybe they redesigned it for '97?
@cvsaharaАй бұрын
even if you cant get into the cowl, if you can find the drain hose emptying out, you can blow air up into it to clear the obstruction. guarantee the water in your floorboard is the blower box filling with water and leaking out.

Recently put an Agility radiator in a 98 ram and it immediately started mixing trans fluid and coolant together. Turned an easy job into a bigger job and big mess. Just pay the extra $40 for a quality brand radiator (like Denso) and save yourself rolling the dice on a huge headache.

Headgasket. It took a few heat cycles and starting working correctly. Still a little smoke on startup due to the scoring in that middle piston wall.

Thanks so much for doing this & mentioning the T30 bit. I just fixed mine. Clearly someone had been in there before, the small round white connector to the camera was a little chewed up. Removed & sprayed it with Deoxit5 & replaced it. Camera fixed. Could not get the larger connector apart but didn't need to.

Good videos Is the electric locker wiring you used in the link have two plugs on the end In the video you talk about it but the harness in your link seems to only have one I am gearing up to put 08 rubicon housings under my g/fs 2013 Sahara and saw this video Also am I buying two harness one for the back and one for the front I take it you did not hook up the part that makes the light come on the dash is that what I am missing with the housing having 2 plugs but harness has one
@cvsahara4 ай бұрын
You are correct. I did not buy the second harness/plug that illuminates the dash. The housings have 2 plugs. The one I used which activates the locker amd a second that illuminates the dash. I think the dash lights also work through the canbus so I didn't mess with them. The lights on the switch work just fine.

Are those C5 seats in your C4? I just got a nice set of C5 seats to replace my destroyed C4 seats. I just have to fabricate some kind of adapters probably. Do you have a video about that? That would be amazing if you do!!
@cvsahara4 ай бұрын
They are c5 seats. I don't have a good video of it but you need to buy some manual seat sliders for a c4 if you don't already have some and then fabricate off that. I have them out of the car currently. Maybe I can make a video showing what I did

I could really use your help. I am struggling with my 1990 ZR-1. My car already had an aftermarket alpine stereo with a 4 channel amp and subwoofer etc. I tried replacing the old aftermarket head unit with a Pioneer bluetooth one. I joined the wires and it fired right up. Sadly however, before I taped my connections the wires probably moved and touched one another and suddenly the radio stopped working. The radio itself is fine. I tested it with 12v external power. I checked the fuses on the passenger door and all seemed fine.
@cvsahara6 ай бұрын
Did you check the fuse on the AMP? Also, use a multimeter and make sure you still have power to the switched power wire. You may have a good fuse, but there might be a break in the power wire from fuse block to the radio.
@andreavgr6 ай бұрын
@@cvsahara I went out and got a multimeter. Followed the cables, turns out it was the regular old 10a "radio" fuse. Thankfully!
