Yes, it worked perfect for me the entire cruise. My cabin attendant also insisted she drain and refill it every day. I didn't object even though I told her she did not need to do that if she did not want to. She said it was no bother, and I actually think they do that to keep them in good working order. And it was nice to have fresh water every day. I read where some of the other suites on the lower levels had heating issues with the whirlpool getting up to temperature. I imagine they have fixed that for those by now. I will also add that given the location of this suite being at the literal front of the ship, foot traffic outside the cabin is nearly non-existent, which I found quite nice because I did not want to be bothered. And if given the choice between this suite or the YC, I'd choose this suite every time. The location could not be more perfect and you have so much space. Also, I love that directly above the cabin is the bridge. This offered additional privacy and I never heard anyone above me. I think you are in for a treat and will enjoy this suite as much as I did. I rarely wanted to leave it. My only real grievance is that you will notice that the bathroom is pretty much the standard bathroom (with a shower) that is the same for all of the regular cabins. I've had a few different cabins on this ship that were non-suite and the bathroom had a bathtub. Those cabins are quite nice as you get more space in the bathroom.
