As a star wars blerd I am super offended that the main defense of this mess, is that people are racist and dont like black people in star wars. This show is an insult to the fans. Its an insult to the jedi. Its an insult star wars. Its just bad. This is written by someone who doesnt understand Star Wars, and didnt care to learn about star wars, and made up literal fanfiction, and is now trying to convince everyone she is a genius. The writing is pathetic. Its illogical, and lacks depth. The fans are literally having to come up with thier own explanation, to fill in the massive narrative leaps and gaps in the story.

There’s still no justification provided for why Torbin self-deleted. I’m beginning to think it was a mis-direct-the writers had him ‘go to live with his ancestors’ so we (the audience) would think the Jedi did something bad 16 years earlier. We were left to believe that it had to have been something truly terrible to warrant Torbin’s 10 years self-imprisonment before ‘saying goodbye to the world’. Turns out, it wasn’t guilt for something bad; rather, it was the world’s WORST case of homesickness. The writers knew we (the audience) would learn that there wasn’t anything justifying Torbin’s actions but they ‘packed him off to Elvis’ anyway. The writing……🤣

So of course their not going make them competent in any way.

There's a possibility that explains how the twins were conceived that no one has mentioned. What if one of the mothers was actually a transsexual male. So when the mother said "I made them," it was just "her" male ego speaking. Of course this doesn't account for the test results of the twins. But there could be any excuse they might use for those. Just brainstorming. I don't really think it's an option they would want fans to believe, but it is pretty creative and it's definitely something that Leslye Headland would secretly contrive. And it's a theory that I would kind of like to have catch on and spread just to throw a wrench into Headland's version of Star Wars.

Maybe the mother witch didn't mean it when she said she was going to let Osha go with the Jedi. Maybe she just used her last breath to lie and do a major guilt trip on Sol's head. In fact, there seems to be an undercurrent of guilt throughout these episodes.

Just a helpful hint: maybe you could move back a smidgen from the spit guard so we can see your smile? 👍😊

Osha is the only person that saw Mae start the fire…for everyone else it happened offscreen, correct??? If so, then it turns out when these supposed Jedi were making up their unnecessary lie to tell the Council they luckily stumbled on a nugget of truth when they said “Mae started the fire…” I enjoyed y’all’s video.

It's like they couldn't think of Torbin's motivation and they said let's just write down he's 'homesick' and we'll think of something great later on. Then they forgot and the director went with it. Could have been worse I guess the writer could of said "he misses Doritos". Imagine getting seduced to the dark side because you want to go home and you're bored. "Luke I have your iPhone."

I don't totally agree. This series is not good. No character development. Characters make bizarre decisions without believable motivations. The outline of the story is OK but even that I have issues with.. That said, If the series was up to Andor's level of storytelling, I would be fine with her challenging the audience.

Never watched any of his content but heard a lot of good stories, not from the actors and production groups that worked with him, but many of my friends that enjoyed the entertainment he's been a part of! Going to make sure I complete Rocky this year to pay my respects! Disney only fired her to save face. You are a business after all and if someone is making it nasty, you have to do what you have to do. Idk if she'll win the lawsuit. Disney can pull something out of their ass to make sure she doesn't win and her tweet that she made does hold against her. Disney did ask her to apologize which she didn't so it wasn't like they didn't warn her about her actions. People will hate ANYTHING they make because "oh why did it make it that way" like let them express their creative freedom! Most people don't do research about the show until it drops, and they immediately will get mad about it, like HUH!? Right now, Disney is pumping out too much Star Wars stuff... projects that you think won't mess up have a higher chance because they're juggling too many projects. Yeah, different studios are handling them, but the money is what talks. The budgets of those projects reflect the quality that comes out in mix with time management… Scared to see how they'll do it but I hope they've learned their lesson with how they dealt with the MCU.

What you've said here suggests to me that it was actually Maarva's speech that convinced Luthern that Andor was an asset rather than a liability. If Luthern hadn't been changed somewhat by Maarva's speech and the mele that ensued, and the knowledge that Andor had been raised by that powerful woman, I think Luthern would have still killed Andor. Luthern: "Damn, was that yo' mama?"
