To be fair, the Commadore at 13:50 was a destruction test, and the boot (trunk) was filled with sand. That's why it collapses like a concertina.

I like how efficiently engineered some of these are by using the occupants as crumple zones. Most vehicles here still had undamaged taillights.

Soo, I guess the Santana was going 300 kph. It shattered into car medly from the abundantly sturdy 0.125mm thick foil unibody construction. Fahrvegkroaken

Both the Polo and the i10 were indian versions, where manufacturers decided to cut costs in safety and not adding airbags

At 9:55, VW Kafer was at least a 1973 or newer model, not a 1966.

I have been a tow truck driver for a while. And some of the so called safe vehicles have weaknesses you don’t see until it actually happens on the highway. It all depends on the vehicle and how it hits the other. Because I saw a pickup truck hit another Ford truck, rip the truck door and the driver out of the driver seat at a low speed. Around 40 to 50 mph in traffic. So, it really depends on what vehicles are involved.

He lost his wallet and things like cash and cards were scattered in the lane. I went collected all of his money, belongings, etc., and gave them to the officer on scene.
