I did sober January 2024. I can recommend it. You are going to feel a lot better if you avoid alcohol for 1-2 weeks. After 3 weeks you might not even care about beer, wine or any other high percentage drinks anymore and after 4 weeks you feel a lot better. It is just a bit boring sometimes and socially people might not understand your avoidance. CR7 GOAT said avoid alcohol in an interview many years ago, he was right. I personally missed barley, hops and yeast after 10 days, but you can drink 0,00% alcohol free beer or similar drinks instead.
