He was on British TV for years. And he still isn't funny.

Probably in the minority, but can't believe 3 ventriloquists have won. I mean they are talented and their bits are cute, chuckle worthy, and family friendly, but its a lot of the same jokes over and over that all of them do. The young girl that sang, was at least unique in that way. I would just never pay to go see a ventriloquist and its not something i'd say i want more of or to see again. i guess that would be my biggest metrics for picking a winner. There are a lot of other acts that i always want to see more of and would pay to see a full show. But hey, a ton of people seem to like it, so good for them.

My three favorite ventriloquists of the modern crop are Darci Lynne, Paul Zerdin and that opera singer who took up ventriloquism and does her act without benefit of a puppet or dummy. They are as good as the art gets.
