On the flight deck is 45 year old Charles Brok. He is the F/E for this flight with 41 hours in the 747, and an estimated 1,000 flight hours total. The F/O is 31 year old James Qante with 1,459 flight hours on the 747. The captain was Kalyani Sejad a 21 year old pilot with 3,033 flight hours total all on the 747. The flight operating was YAI air 349, the aircraft registration was N98AK-9 and with over 10,000+ total operating time. The plane was a Boeing 747-400 manufactured in for Pan am, and soon delivered to YAI air in 1989 by Pan am, when the airline started to die. The flight departed at 13:03 UTC and when the flight started the decent the captain started to take control over the aircraft. The F/O and F/E intervened and a fight broke out in the cockpit. To stop the F/O and F/E, the captain put the aircraft in a steep dive, the aircraft experienced more than 590 kts. The aircraft couldn't handle the amount of speed and disintegrated south of the Rockford Island. The aircraft broke up into 11 main pieces. The elevators, rudder, wings, aft fuselage, rear center tank, and the nose of the plane. Out of the 257, people onboard, no one survived, and the 2nd deadliest aircrash above KLM flight 2002.
