Oh sure, traveling through a zipper portal to a mystical forest with fruits that either turn you into a monster or turn into special locks that with a certain belt makes giant metal fruit drop onto your head and turns into armor is all completely normal, but a giant robot fighting a giant monster aka one of the most popular forms of entertainment in Japan? Now that’s just out of the ordinary

Well he wouldn't be able to see the train, but the monster they're fighting is a mutated Inves. So he'd probably panic like crazy.... Thank God Kouta destroyed the Scalar System a few episodes ago, or he would have actually used it.
