It's such a blessing that we get to see behind the scenes footage of a huge band like this. I hate social media and the effect it has on people, but man . . . sometimes I wish they had the stuff we have now back in the 70s, so we could see high quality footage like this of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Motörhead.

Worst producer ever. He butchered Slayer's World Painted Blood too.

The irony is that when they brought Rob into the band, Lars said he was the only one that didn't seem to be struggling. Yet, here we are watching Lars looking like he's struggling. Love Lars as a composer and producer, but he looks like he's struggling.

Jesus, how in the hell does anybody understand what Lars is trying to say when he's explaining how the riff or song should go ... all his stupid hand gestures asking with "like, uhm the thing that goes like ddaaaa dun dun dun da da da You know what i mean? " It amazes me that Lars had so much control over the song arrangements. Who knew? Probably everybody aside from me lol.. and he also had the balls to sit there with a plate of food ON the mixing board while he sits there yapping with his mouth full of food, getting crumbs and spit all over the gear. He's lucky nobody suck as good as he does 😂

Kirk is not a great improv player. He just plays random notes as quick as possible. In my opinion, needs more phrasing and melody

Pity they do such videos for shitty albums recording sessions, instead of doing it in great era of 1983-1988. They would have much bigger audience.

Say what you want about Lars’ live drumming, but in the studio, he’s a fucking monster. And he’s an excellent song arranger. Casual fans don’t even know who he is.

I really love Metallica, they are a metal icon and for me the biggest metal band of all times, but I would love to see them change a bit the way they played, If they move a bit to a more slow and heavy sounds, like they did with the black album, could result in a very good sound as well, style is almost the same since some kind of monster album and for most of the albums, the exception was the black album and garage inc, I really believe that they can do something different, more melodic , slow and more heavy.

It’s amazing to see them at work like that, I will admit I am completely lost in their process 😂 but I enjoy it anyway. It really shows how much of the creating is from Lars and James. They are the heart and soul of this band.

Love these guys… even after all the years and bullshit they have gone through, being assholes and all. In the end, it’s all about getting in the studio and putting good shit together. That’s what it’s about ya’ll.
