There’s no switch, they key to this trick is prior to engaging with the audience you bend the spoon or in this case fork back and forth many many times untill the metal is extremely weak then place it back as best you can and with little to no heat the metal will begin to bend, somin this case the heat from her palms caused this

lol, nice variation on the usual spoon bending trick that involves preparing the spoon by bending it back and forth ahead of time and then using the heat of your hand to bend it with your "mind powers." nice misdirect to use the heat of their hand with the prepared fork tines.

Mine was Car - Apple - Elephant Lots of vegetables and fruits end with an E, and I even have trouble thinking of other animals starting with an E. Emu, Eagle.. Elk? It's highly unlikely you'll legitimately think of any of those before you think of Elephant. And the directions was to go with the first word you think of. As long as he can get you to think of a word that ends with E, he's pretty much succeeded.

Nice Brendon! How tempted I am to think that you set these things up, but I'll believe your former protestation. The problem with individual settings like this is that they could all too easily be set-ups. Crowd street magic is more convincing, I would think.

We have no idea whether the 'impromptu assistant' was a stooge or not. If not, that was pretty impressive. My guess though is that she was in on it.

Thanks for the compliment Glen, I really appreciate it. As a Mentalist the best reaction one can have is claims of the person being a stooge. Just for the record I have worked very hard on my craft and I use no actors or stooges in my shows.
