At 9 years old, in southern Ontario, Canada, in the late 1990s, I was aware that gay people existed but not something I had any reason to notice. One day, I was playing with my doll and had the random thought, "if I grow up to be gay because of this [liking my doll's body], I wouldn't be surprised." That's all the thought or consideration given to the idea because I knew there was nothing bad about being gay from the limited knowledge I had. I probably didn't consider the topic again until I was 13 and reflecting on how awkward I acted towards a friend's friend who I wanted to be my friend but didn't know how. I later thought I might have had a crush. By 13-14 I knew I was attracted to women, but I was still too awkward to try dating, so I'm impressed and happy that you were able to date.

My mom also passed away 1Jan 2024 in this disease..same as got pneumonia than breathing difficulties...she didn't use any feeding tube& tracheostomy ..she gone strongly .
