Where can I download the Intranet Tool Kit @microsoft365inpractice?

I use SharePoint Online very frequently, but if I put in the URL as suggested with the contacts directory at the end, it does not show the template but rather just open a new SP list. I tried to find the contacts template but couldn't find it anywhere....

Hi @Tower-TechLTD, and thanks for asking. The Contact list template, and many others are considered to be "classic templates", they may not be immediately visible. When you add "New App", look for "Classic Experience" link on the add app page. You should then be able to create a Contacts list from there (<your tenant name>.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/addanapp.aspx). If Contacts is not on that Classic App page, then your site may not have the "Team Collaboration Lists" feature enabled. One the Site Settings page, click on "Manage site features". Then find and activate the "Team Collaboration Lists" feature. Check the classic experience apps again. Please let me know if that answers your question.

Just a quick note: when using the Group by feature in SharePoint views, it disrupts the intended numerical order. I'm unable to get items to display in a 0-10 sequence; instead, they’re automatically sorted alphabetically.

I noticed that too...couldn't find any settings to make it work so the only workaround was to add numbers in front of the section names. It will appear as "Section : 1.0 Introduction" and "Section : 2.0 Getting Started" etc...another problem I found is the index links open a new browser tab each time one is clicked which ends up opening a lot of extra browser tabs. Not sure if there is a workaround for that other than using javascript or perhaps site navigation?

@ryanramnarine you can add a numeric field, called say "Sort Order", and use that to sort all views.

This is too difficult and move too fast for a novice. You know what you are talking about, but we don't. I just opened an older ms word 2012. Just want to build squares and label them for my timesheet. All the other stuff automated you can keep. Just the rough basics. Do you have a video on that. Date, class, hour, total.

By the way - did you know that when you click the gear icon located in the toolbar of the video player, you can choose speed of the video? That might help you :)

Fantastic!! The way you explain details of both the functionality as well as how to create the pages and structure is very succinct. Thank you. This is my new go-to for building my policy and procedures manuals. Your presentation method is straight-forward and easy going without a lot of 'fluff' which I appreciate. If I want a comedy show I'll go to a comedy channel lol. This is my first visit to your channel and I plan to watch many more of your videos now. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Loved it! Envolving people who have not worked with SP it's not easy, but by making and letting them to help out and built even some small parts of the project makes them feel it's their work too (and actually it is) and so they are keen to spread the word about how useful it is for the company.
