Interesting indeed fella. I'm in the midlands but have dabbled in Canal Carp in the past, but from the other side of the tow path 🙂. It's certainly a different animal and challenge but rewards are there indeed ;-) what about something like "Swim Looker" bit of a play on Swim Booker or "Peg to Pitch" a play on the swims back to your mooring Be good to see your journey in 2025, and good luck.

Just stumbled on to your channel and found it really interesting, I've not done much canal fishing since i was a kid, used to go the old roan and at the back of Tate and Lyle on the Dock rd all we ever used to catch was perch and sticklebacks but it was always enjoyable, i think I need to get back out on the cut and give it a go when it warms up a bit and target them lovely looking Carp, I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to more of your informative videos 👍

I use to fish leeds and liverpool canal all the time, use to be red hot round Silsden in Yorkshire, my biggest was a 23lb common, I think the canal trust has electro fished it and took most ov the carp out now witch is bang out of order but not alot we can do about it, wish u all the best mate
