This thing is seriously a gigantic pile of garbage. We have one, purchased new, and it has had structural failures, multiple winch failures, the front air dam disintegrated, bolts constantly loosening and falling out, the winch sucked the electrical wires in and caused a major short circuit, incorrectly wired lights, and more. Absolutely zero accountability or interest in resolving any of these issues from Timpte.

My EPAS on my mustang had a bit of sludge around the connector. Almost looked like the epas module was leaking fluid, but I can’t find any info regarding if these modules use fluid/seals. I cleaned it off and hoping it was just road debris and not a leak. Do you know if the module with the electrical connectors contains fluid? Thanks

That cars got the torque to run 3rd gear. No sense in bein scared. You bought and built that car for a reason. It looks like you’re not totally committed. You can toss the weight of that car around because I do it with mine. It’s the same car besides mine not having a blower. Also see about learning to add some left foot brake. You’re very handbrake reliant. What I did that I feel like helped me a lot was not even buying a handbrake for a while. I do all my driving with some left foot braking and momentum. Could also need a hair of toe out. A little bit of toe out will make the car feel snappier and help with turn in. I have the Scotidi angle kit and I’m running .25 toe out , 5.5* camber. Maybe this could help

Yea. A little uncommitted day 1 because of the wreck and grip being inconsistent. Day 2 was a lot better. Wheel speed in second gear at redline is 75-ish mph and it’s grippy af on kendas compared to a sra car. Left foot braking was inconsistent that weekend because the ps pump was on its way out and it’s on hydro boost. Handbrake also kept transitions consistent because the rear was opening because it’s a stock I welded diff. Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated.

The terminators came with a t56 and 3.55’s from the factory.

@ I know the t56 part. I wonder if 3.73’s would benefit you. But either way 400 horse I feel like that’s too little of wheel speed in 2nd.

That really sucks. Seems to be a common issue with a lot of go pro cameras. I will say I’ve never lost a file with the dji cameras though. And I’m always dropping them, and getting them dirty.

Worst purchase i have done. Bought the 18'. Snapped the wire twice. Broke the wind deflector brackets and license plate holder due to vibration. Be very careful. Main lifting winch Snapped with a mk4 supra and a gs300.

I think I’m having a problem with my EPAS. Maybe someone has a solution besides replacing it. Yesterday I lost power steering but this morning it worked again for a little while and now it’s gone again. I have a 2011 GT. I have a bad tie rod on the driver side. Any suggestions? Someone said unplugged the battery for 15 minutes to see if the EPAS will reset?

It’s been great. I just used it a couple weeks ago for a full day of drifting on a big track with the termi and it was solid. Just make sure the surface is smooth and clean and check it once in a while and you should be good to go.

Thanks! I should be getting back to the 2011 soon. I have a motor, just need the time and some funds for smaller stuff (and also a clutch while I’m at it). The coyote is a really stout motor. I beat on mine for a long time with no issues, and it was running a Paxton novi2200 most of its life. I had a couple fans burn out and overheated a little bit (more than once) and that probably contributed towards the failure. So don’t over heat a bunch of times and it should be great. Lol.

Everything looks great, and great ideas, but when it comes to safety safety becomes #1 first priority I would suggest to install heavy duty safety shackles where the straps are hold and the the shackles have to be installed to the chassis the strongest part of the trailer, you see when towing there is no room for mistakes
