How do you find jobs if everyone on you tube is already cleaning windows?
@windowwarriorsforum9112Ай бұрын
KZbin has nothing to do with finding jobs. Your marketing is what will fet you jobs. Even jn a saturated market with many companies offering window cleaning yiu can get the quality jobs by separating your services from others. Use your reputation, safety record and portfolio to do this. People always compare themselves to others, be yourself and others will soon compare them to you.

Nice, what are the benefits of winsol soap you are using vs dawn?
@windowwarriorsforum9112Ай бұрын
Winsol 120 soap for window cleaning I've found better cutter for various dirt, debris and fingerprints. Firts the low foaming does not dry on glass as fast as dish soap. It also in concentrated, less goes further than dish soap. A.window that gets hot in sun/wind greatly benefits when being cleaned by a wetting agent/cleaner that stays wet longer, especially large commercial, often tinted glass.

Great tips on your channel. I have been straggling so much with pressure and angle on squeegee even for straight poles I leave streaks. Any tips in how to find the perfect pressure and angle? Btw its not the rubber or debris on it or solution, its my bad technique. So frustrating!
@windowwarriorsforum9112Ай бұрын
Great question. Every squeegee channel and handle has a proper angle and one that is most comfortable to a user. New users often make the mistake of trying many, tools never giving one an opportunity to produce results at the users comfortable hand angle. The angle changes when used on a pole. Concentrate on watching the squeegee when poling, keeping the squeegee at the same angle as the body/armes adjust to keep the same angle. When fanning by hand, moving in and out of corners often leaves users to lower their palm during these movements. Keeping the squeegee handle at the same angle is key. Try holding in hand and dropping your pinky finger to the glass as a guide to the angle and ability to maintain it in and out of turns.or corners. While.at first it seems tough, it will simply become second nature or a memory hand movement keeping that angle. Another thought is eyes following behind squeegee as it moves. If you see the haze left behind that dries quickly, the angle.is wrong, correct it immediately

The bottom was not getting rinsed it was getting all the shit from above all down it 😂😂and also if your cleaning windows like that then you probably shouldn’t offer to do the insides after either 😂
@windowwarriorsforum9112Ай бұрын
Bottom was rinsed with a higher flow from above. A clean window rinses with less water because it's a smooth surface not tacky or rough with dirt/debris gone. Why not offer insides? Dark tinted windows can reduce clean time using wfp too. Once you experience a clear window versus a darkly tinted you know ine shows less flaws, dirt etc.

A thought many don't think off when watching videos is how can I clean faster, more efficiently and with less movements. People love watching a person fanning by hand or pole but to what point is it overkill? Users know that every turn can increase a hack, line or drip.....so reduce turns using a larger squeegee.

Actually, dont side pull with single swipes lifting squeegee off the glass but try to do the long narrow in one swipe with 18' by starting at bottom, moving upward motion cutting water off left edge, once to top, slightly pivot leading squeegee edge slanted and then straight down and close out at bottom. I'll do a video

Great tips! Just curious, how do you even clean those thin parts of the divided windows? Do you use some sort of mini squeegee?
@windowwarriorsforum91122 ай бұрын
We use a 18" squeegee for all of them. Even the thin long sections. The 4 corners are 3" x 3" so we buff those with our normal detailing rag, huck surgicals.

Just discovered your channel. Great stuff! Do you have a video that goes over the main considerations for deciding what method to use on which job?
@windowwarriorsforum91122 ай бұрын
No but will. Really depends on individual setup versus time used and location of water source. If you have a tank based system it may be a quicker setup and ideal for smaller jobs. Otherwise when connecting to water spigot must be worth the time of setup/teardown vs amount of work to clean. Heights of work or access could be a contributor also

A little confused on something, currently trying to build this. Heres my questions 1. Is the strip brush holder and the U channel 1 piece? Or are they 2 separate things that you connected 2. Do the strip brushes and holders have to have the same backing size? You posted links on the youtube 3 weeks ago but the brush and holder have different backing sizes 3. Whats the height of the U channel? Because im assuming the height of the holder is 36in 4. Is the T fitting have 2 sides that are 1/2 in and then the 3rd side is a 3/4 in? 5. How did you get the holders to look like that? The link you shared has 3 holders that are together but your build has 4 holders that are seperated into groups of 2. Thank you!

The track for brush is one piece, metal spine of brush slides in, simple. I've only seen one size trach slot and brush spine. T fitting will be whatever you choose and purchase tube for

One "swipe" takes 2 seconds max. On a job with 200 windows and one less swipe per window you're saving 400 seconds MAX. 400 seconds = 6.6 minutes. I personally wouldn't even notice 6 and a half minutes.

No, the IPC Eagle Hydro Cart is a water purification system. Solo is same as a ZERO or similar cart but whats ideal with the IPC is it can be paired with an battery pump, 120 Volt pump or gas pump. It can grow with a user or buy fully set for 2 users from the start. It's nice because pumps are onboard, no separate carrying or loading but attached to unit always but can opt to use or not depending on the site. I'll do a video detailing it
