If I pull this on the road with my truck, do the hydraulic brakes engage when the truck slows down? Kinda like some smaller trailers with hydraulic box on tongue do??

On catching out the material to determine pattern accuracy, you really need to make sure you overlap is set correctly as well. For example if your running 80' track lines, you'd run ideally down your edge, then center and then finish with your far edge pass. This process described here only gives you an idea on how wide to run. Also this process should be repeated for different materials and different rates. It is crucially important to conduct these calibrations at the speed you hope to apply at, as the fertilizer flow changes as your ground speed changes thus changing your pattern. Spinner machines can be highly accurate if set correctly.

great video... I am proud to say I started my major working career at UM in Kalida and was there for the 50th Anniversary plus I still have my book they had made with all the past achievements as well as every employee. Was there for 9.5 years and not a time goes by when someone asks if anyone is hiring ,,I tell them to check out UM they wont regret it. It has been almost 24 years since I left to a different career path and not a day goes by that I don't think about that job, place or the people. Met great ones that I still talk to this day. Steve, Larry and Dave I thank you along with your entire family for the opportunity ,,it has been with me and will always be with me.

Is this for cover crops only or can we use it for any seed planting? Can we plant coastal Bermuda? its a very small seed.

I own a 8ft and a 12 ft, BOTH are great machines. I recommend the green color, matches the John deeres. They're great thick steel so you won't have any problem bending these at all.

I’ve been watching Brian farming videos and he’s planting soybeans and several times he’s had to stop because seed balls would plug up and it will quit feeding why don’t you make some type of an attachment you can put on your tenders to break up the seed balls and stop that from plugging up the planner just food for thought Grace and peace man
