I was curios to ask. How do you get your clients emails to appear for you on Guardz? Do you simply log into their email through guardz or what’s the process? Thank you for this video. Very informative.

Just moved away from Kaseya in the last couple months. AWFUL SUPPORT!!! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! OPPRESSIVE CONTRACT!!! I wouldn't switch back. They're full of sh!t and just want to pressure you into buying more services and getting locked into things you don't need. Stay away.

Kaseya cheaper than Datto? I bought a router from Datto under management about £10 a month, with Kaseya under control it’s 110 a month or something like that. DattoRMM has remained the same price. I guess Kaseya365 is looking cheaper but only if you’re going to utilise those features, we will see.

Fantastic video! As a relatively new MSP, we've faced ups and downs. When we decided to offer business VoIP services, we experimented with various platforms. If anyone is in search of an exceptional VoIP partner, I highly recommend looking into Thirdlane.

This looks like a great tool for someone forced to use Azure and the MS ecosystem...but for us real techs trying to get away from it, this does nothing for us. Good to have options, but assuming everyone is cupping the balls of MS. Just advertise yourself as a better UI of InTune, or whatever TF they are calling it this week.

Just a quick note. I can see many cases where a BAA would be required for a PSA. You would be surprised how many support tickets end up needing patient names sometimes. That alone would require a BAA.

Your podcast discussion on Guards' cybersecurity platform was incredibly informative and enlightening. I particularly enjoyed learning about the all-in-one security suite offered, covering email security, cloud app protection, and device defense. Thanks for sharing valuable insights that have inspired me to reassess and strengthen our cybersecurity approach based on the teachings from your podcast.

How would you say this compares to SaaS Alerts? It sounds a little like it.
@RocketMSP10 ай бұрын
I would say they're two completely different solutions that happen to have some overlap. SaaS Alerts is going to help you with getting the best cybersecurity on your Microsoft 365 install, while Guardz will help you with everything from spam filtering to phishing simulations.

The pricing really isn't bad; I paid retail $9/user to use it before the RocketMSP acquisition. My cybersecurity has been taken over by our CIO, so I simply don't manage that aspect any longer.

We really wanted to like this product. Ricky was absolute gold in helping us understand it, but at the end of the day it was a bit complex for our clients. We asked a few why they weren't using it and the response circled around it feeling like an endless maze. Or they would try to look for something they knew was available, but couldn't find it. We tried to help them find it and we got lost too. At the end of the day, clients just used it for the front page of third party links. One client used the knowledge base but eventually had to pass when several of his employees asked for something easier to get to. Which... Isn't that the point? If cloud radial had a revamp of the overall UI, they would slay in this field.

Thanks @mykeman83! It means alot to us that you like what we've built so far. We are looking forward to working with MSP partners all over the world and have designed the service so it works globally today - we just haven't spun up in every region for local access, which we know some industries/compliance may require.

“Microsoft doesn’t care for MSPs”. Then why does Lighthouse exist? M365 Business Premium licenses (no vendor out there can match the features in collaboration, security, and affordability) that this license has. Some piece of advice for MSPs; don’t sign up for any security products based on the demo and the figures they are telling you . Always ask for a 30 day trial minimum and dedicate one of your best senior engineer to thoroughly trial it. I can already see a red flag with SaaS Alerts when the question was asked “do you support the whole M365? Answer: yes everything M365. Question: and Intune? Answer: no Intune”. Well, if you support the whole M365, Intune is part of M365 so your answer was incorrect. I also think the recommendations and the scores aren’t accurate or polished. For example, 44 points you gain for just adding the licenses. How about configuring? The points should instead be calculated on whether something is configured and not licenses added. Adding the licenses is the easy part. I understand my comments is based solely on this interview and not on actually using the product so take these comments as my first impression

As a preface to show how much I valued this. I've never once actually went out of my way to sign in a comment on youtube. When you asked if they could go through and essentially map their product to various framework requirements I threw my hands up. I cannot tell you how much time Ive spent evaluating products to only find out that "well your product is great, but 60k a year to achieve 3 out of 153 safeguards (CIS v8), I just cant justify it for my budget, sorry." And end up feeling like I wasted 3 months doing a full blown POC and multiple calls and discussions etc. Companies only see the IT spend figures with respect to future cybersecurity investment, not realizing the majority of companies that contribute to 90% of that spend is 1% of the market. The real market, the rest of us businesses are stuck trying to figure out how to protect the business. Real companies dont have the budget you expect them to have. I skipped to pricing, for my 1500 users, thats 7,500 a month = 90k a year. Which is unfortunate. I'm doing more than what Guardz is offering with way less. Love the video!!!!

The biggest mistake I see companies make over and over is implementing strict SLAs/KPIs instead of goals, because it always ends up dehumanizing their staff and customers and turns the culture toxic in a matter of months.
