Thank you so much for the lesson on Curve Sector. I am learning Blender and have been trying to make a pie shape at 120. I’ve been searching for weeks on how to make it. After 3 hours of searching today, I breezed across your video and you showed me how to make it in one step. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You're always welcome, Kn1ghton..!! Thank you for watching..!! :) Yes, there are quite a number of features that no longer works with Blender 4.0 or later. I'll definitely look into it, but I don't think I'll be able to replicate this on the latest version of Blender. For now, please use an older version of Blender to use this feature. (e.g. I always have a portable version of 3.60 ready on my C drive.) :)

Try using Multiply Add instead of just Multiply, then change the value of the Addend. Also you can adjust the "angle" of the transition by adding an empty and then set the object to use for the texture coordinates to that empty. Then rotate the empty to adjust the angle of the transition.

@DenysMavrynsky I had some free time, so I created a timestamped text instruction fro the modeling part. :) 0:00 Press 'Numpad 1' or type backquote ` and select the Front Orthographic viewport. 0:14 If there's no curve point in the menu, please add an add-on called 'Extra Objects'. 0:29 If we don't press the 3D button, we won't be able to extrude (E) upward. We can only go side to side. 0:32 Type 'E' to extrude. 0:47 We're setting the last point's 'Z axis value' to zero, so when it gets wrapped around later, it will meet the starting point at 'Z axis zero'. 0:54 In Edit Mode, type "A" to Select All, "V" to set the Handle Type, and "A" to Smooth it. 1:04 Please go to 'Object Mode' first by pressing 'Tab' and Right Click to convert to mesh. 1:15 'Tab' to go to Edit Mode, '1' to vertex select, 'A' to select all, type 'E' and 'Z' to extrude upward on the 'Z axis'. 1:20 We type "S", "Z", and zero to align the vertices, so the upper vertices become straight and aligned. 1:28 If we 'Alt + Select' an edge, we can select the entire edge loop. Then type "E" and "Z" to extrude ont he 'A axis'. 1:46 We're using the Simple Deform modifier to wrap the mesh around. :) 1:58 Hover the mouse over the modifier, and press 'Control + A' to apply the modifier. 2:05 'Merge by distance' will merge the closest vertices, meaning the vertices that got stacked (or overlapped) will merge. 2:20 'Alt select' the middle edge loop, "2" to go to edge selection mode, and Control "B" to bevel. 2:34 'Alt + E' will allow us to extrude along normals, meaning we can push the selected face loop inward. 2:45 Control "3" to subdivide. Right Click and Shade Smooth to smooth the surface. 2:50 'Alt select' and press 'Control + B' to bevel the edge loop to make them look sharper. 3:36 From here, we'll extrude the top and the bottom edge loops inward to create a ring shape. :) 3:38 "E" will extrude, "Enter" will settle, meaning we've added a new stacked edge loop that can be scaled without affecting the original edge loop. 3:50 In Edit Mode, please press 'Control + E' to bridge edge loop. 4:03 'Control + R' is another method to add a sharper edge loop to a subdivided mesh's selected edge loop. That's about it on the modeling part. :) The rest of the tutorial is about making new materials, and that one is going to be easy to follow. :)
