This is an over exaggeration, that friends are fighting and jumping over the table like Tarzan, it never happened with me in my whole life and I never saw this kind of so called "hospitality" in Pakistan. Yes of course Pakistanis love to "talk" about it! In your case, they probably wanted to impress a white foreigner, as "image" in front of outsiders is a matter of life and death in Pakistan.

Russians are very hospitable people, and they do it without even boasting about it. I'm saying it from personal experience.

Because of the Soviet war in Afghanistan Russia lost all interest in the hearts of most Pakistanis except the Pathans as they're also related to being Turks and Russian cross. Russia is Russia or Soviet is still a mystery. Russians still praise the Soviet era and still wear the Soviet flag whenever possible alongside the Russian flag. I'm still trying to understand the difference between Turks and Russians as Putin, Erdogan and Nathan look like brothers with three different religions. So, it is hard for me to differentiate between Turks, Russians and the current Israelis. Russian women are beautiful but they are also considered as Madusa. hahaha!

I love Russia and its people

Amazingly us Pakistanis in the US and elsewhere continued this tradition when we go out to eat here. While the rest of the world has accepted splitting the bills equally or paying separately which they refer to as going Dutch, we still try to maintain our tradition.

These values are Islamic values and they existed even before the existence of Pakistan and the "culture" of Pakistan.

The reason is our creator The God Almighty absolutely loves and forgives the sins of the person who feeds someone whatever their religion.

Pakistan culture of hospitality sounds good to me. Since i am limited in money. I must visit Pakistan hahaha

Visiting India for Russian tourists is the best! Also consider the Maldives or Sri Lanka. Bangladesh is a good place to go visit.
