Top song.. but (and) it sounds Todd's been listening closely to the awesome riff from Death Trip by Iggy and the Stooges.

I bought this in 1974 when I was 13. I quite pleased to see so many younger people discovering this. I met him briefly in 1979, and I have never forgotten how kind and thoughtful he was to a bright eyed teenager who wanted to show him some pictures. (I aspired to draw album covers in those days . . .). Also, for the fellow below, I too remember window pane. I did it once and never have forgotten that day. I think Mr. Rundgren wrote a lot of this on window pane.

aun me sorprende que charly haya sido capaz de agarra una canción super pegadizo y hasta alegre para hacr una versión tetrica y medio villanezca, unos capos ambos.

Love the song I was 15 years old in San Francisco. I was dating Wayne McKee. He was a good looking guy and ran track. We had to leave Hunters Point Naval Base. I knew I would never see him again. But this song brings back the memories from days gone bye! Still one my favorite songs from that time in the 70s.❤

15 years ago, while staying in Istanbul and working in Ismet, the assistant I had hired, who was also my driver we became good friends. Every day on our drive to Ismet, this song would come on about halfway to Ismet. We started singing it together every morning for the next several months while I was there. Great memories and a universal connection.

Classic rock stations just ran Hello It's Me in the ground ( don't get me wrong It's a great track and one of my favorites) when radioio 70"s was online in early 2000 host Tom Mehan would play the deep tracks that underground radio once did and this track ( as well as the funky track Sunburst) was played on his radioio station and man i was floored and even after hearing him play Sunburst that was kool as well it was just as funky as some folks are even whiter ( which was on the Hello It's Me album. )
