Saw him live several times way back when. Permanently changed my understanding of leading a band, and fronting...it's a job!!! ( but the best job in the universe...) Thanks for everything, Mr. Rundgren!

"And when we're through with you... We'll get me one, too." I'm 70. Saw Todd with The Nazz in Dallas, 1969, opening for Spirit. The "Nazz Nazz" tour. And then, by shear luck, I was in Palo Alto on business in 1989-90(?). Saw Todd in San Jose, at a pre-tour (is that a word?) performance before his "Nearly Human" tour. Todd, you are a national treasure!

WTF. clipped BS. todd was pioneer iin electronic layering. same with kraftwerk adventure into electronic technology. The classic rock of the 1960s were getting boring and no effort at radio stations and disco was breif and amazing musicians and a massive money maker as all they needed was a DJ and it was the prime time for cocaine. People were hungry for anything interesting and challenging. along comes awesome new music on midnight special and don kirhner rock concert. slade, mott the hoople, bowie, elo, ,blue oyster cult, todd, leon russel, BOA, DR.john.
