@@MeechLoc3200 didn't test it in rainy conditions, but I'd say you will be OK with Michelin PS4 or PS5s with traction control on (unless you're really driving in an excessive manner).

Great day at the track. Yes, it's a handful at Mondello...don't think it's the best type of track for a C5Z. But regardless, I had a lot of fun!

No need to be rich to have fun at the track. Had just as much fun a long time ago, when I had a Toyota MR2 (Beams). Plenty of good options out there for all types of budgets.

@@jerryeinstandig7996 You can buy my old BMW for 3k on Done Deal and another 1k for a few spares tyres etc and other bits. 1k for 5 trackdays. That's 5k in Total. Go for it 😀

Definitely. Today was in a bit of a hurry and ended up not checking the trunk of the car thoroughly before my sessions. Was quite upset when I heard the noise as I was driving around the track

It was OK, comfortable enough for the purpose of the trip. Only needed a place to sleep and then roam around the area throughout the day. The place I stayed on my most recent trip with the Z06 was better though. I may go again around April, but not sure yet.

I took mine off also, it's near impossible to find replacements, so you couldn't have fixed it anyways. Buff it out and you'll never be able to tell there were stripes

i have a C5 Z06, imported by the previous owner in Switzerland there was no need to convert the tail lights. it still has the US style light (which are much nicer than EU lights). Same with my imported Cadillac ELR, it keeps its US tail lights.

Understood. CH has different laws, the EU specs one grew on me and I can understand the need to have orange one as turn signals. Wouldn't go back to US specs ones now.

260 kph on GPS and 257.5 kph on speedo... That is quite an accurate speedo. (Unless the photo of the speedo was taken on a different run of course 😅)

Thanks. But the highest I achieved was 264 KM/H. The photo wasn't precisely while I was going the fastest, but it was my buddy who tried to capture the dash on the top speed attempt.
