I need to find this guy and go out a few times with him to learn the local waters. I just moved to the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area and am building out a boat (Sold the yak and got a micro boat so I can bring the kids). Got my forever Fresh and forever Salt licenses. Little tip on making better brushes. Get some dubbing wax and wax your wire before putting your materials down and it'll stick better when pulling out your board. And get some dubbing brush wire cause it's a little thicker and made for building dubbing brushes and I believe J Stockard carries it.

Hey Cap Jud. Any suggestions on summer time fly fishing for drum up here near oriental? Im so used to blind casting/power fishing with my soft plastics to locate fish, but I really want to put my 8 and 9wt fly rods to use and get the practice with them other than for pike and salmon once or twice a year. Ive got a little jon boat so I can get shallow. Thanks man
