Well, I'm not sure if I'm going to go rewatch the movie, or put on the album. Maybe both? Great job.

This song belongs in the life aquatic soundtrack. Awesome video.

It's the opening movement called "Requiem". It's confusing because the whole piece is also called "Requiem". But that's the case with all requiems (which is a mass for the dead). The mass always opens with the Requiem.

I started watching The Life Aquatic the other day and didn't get to finish it. The whole movie made me think of this song so I thought I'd watch the video before I finished the movie and now I'm crying because Ned. There are fucking spoilers here and I'm so upset but I'm still going to watch this video all the time

This is my favorite Wes Anderson movie - love the awkward passages, the uncomfortable bits. Combined with my favorite Neutral Milk Hotel song and I'm a very happy person indeed. Thank you.

I'm actually not sure. I used an mp3 that I've had on my computer for ages. It was only labled as Mozart - Requiem, sorry.

Unfortunately, people tend to get a little irrational when it comes to things they really like (music, movies, books, etc.).

Wow, I just saw how people cussed me out about a negative comment I made months ago. Ha, so unexpected. Obviously, we all came here because we share similar tastes in movies and music. I don't know why I was insulted just for expressing my distaste for the movie. I've watched every film Wes has made -- love Rushmore and Royal Tenenbaums -- and worship NMH. When I comment about "good" music or art, my comments are usually received with class. Maybe that got lost when "hipster" went mainstream.
